Chicago and React Presents don’t subscribe to the notion that music festivals need to end in the summer, and that’s why the Windy City’s Halloween themed music festival, Freaky Deaky, is returning for another year. Last year Freaky Deaky got to see live performances from Bassnectar, Armin Van Buuren, Pretty Lights, 2 Chainz, Logic, Vic Mensa, Flying Lotus and more, and this upcoming Halloween weekend (October 28-30) fans get to enjoy an even bigger and better lineup.

Coming to Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL this year for Freaky Deaky will be your favorite names in electronic music like Disclosure, DJ Snake, Tiesto, Snails and more. Rap fans will get their fair share at Freaky Deaky as well, including performances from Travis Scott, DJ Khaled, Lil Dicky, ‘Panda’ rapper Desiigner, Metro Boomin and Schoolboy Q, just to name a few.

Check out the promo video and full lineup below, and don’t wait until October, get your wristbands now at FreakyDeakyHalloween.com.

The Top 30 Albums of 2015

The Top 30 Albums of 2015

Following an arguably weak year for albums, 2015 has seen a lot of great projects and many unexpected ones as well. While this year we saw the highly anticipated return of Adele, patient fans are still awaiting Frank Ocean’s sophomore album and Kanye West’s Swish. But where Frank and Kanye have left music fans hanging, new comers like Bryson Tiller, Alessia Cara, GoldLink, BOOTS, Halsey and more have put out some great albums to help kick off their relatively young careers. 2015 though was also a great year for some heavyweights, of course we’re referring to artists like Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar and even pop superstars like One Direction and Justin Bieber. In just one day, November 13th, the music world saw more great releases than it did in a span of months in 2014. Cheers to hoping 2016 delivers as well as 2015 did!

Is it festival season already? Well… not quite yet, we still have winter to come, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited for the great musical festivals that 2016 will have to offer. And today fans in Delaware can be that much more excited as Firefly has released its 2016 lineup. The Dover, Delaware’s lineup this year doesn’t look too different from some major festival lineups from 2015, but it certainly sets the tone for what fans will likely see when Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnarro begin to make their own announcements.

Taking place from June 16-19 this year, fans will see some great headlining sets from Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Florence & the Machine, deadmau5 and more. The strength of this festival isn’t just on the top row, as Firefly is inviting a number of great acts irregardless of what set-time and stage they play on. With performances from Ellie Goulding, Blink-182, Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky, Major Lazer, Ludacris, Earth Wind & Fire, Fetty Wap, Vince Staples and many more, Firefly will have something for everyone.
