Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival Reveals 2017 Lineup

The Summer’s Last Stand, Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival is returning to Union Park this summer for another year of great music. And today, festival organizers shared the initial 2017 lineup and we’re already excited. Just to name a few, the festival will be headlined by names like deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, Carnage, Ween, Damian Marley and STS9.

2017 will also be another year of great hip-hop acts for North Coast, as Gucci Mane, Lil Dicky, Big Boi, Spekta, Post Malone and WebsterX are all scheduled to perform.

Chicago’s “Spring Awakening” Releases Epic EDM Lineup, Announces New Location

Move over Miami, because Chicago may be the new premiere city for EDM, as today React Presents’ electronic mega-festival, Spring Awakening has just announced its 2016 lineup, and it’s epic. Performing at the Chicago festival this year, at its new location of Addams/Medill Park, will be deadmau5, The Chainsmokers, Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Zeds Dead, Jamie xx, RL Grime and many more. A festival lineup that EDM fans could only dream of.

This year the festival will take place from June 10th through the 12th and will host 5 stages total (with 6 branded stages, 2 each day). Tickets are on-sale for Spring Awakening now, so get them before it’s too late!

Firefly Releases 2016 Lineup: Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, deadmau5

Is it festival season already? Well… not quite yet, we still have winter to come, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited for the great musical festivals that 2016 will have to offer. And today fans in Delaware can be that much more excited as Firefly has released its 2016 lineup. The Dover, Delaware’s lineup this year doesn’t look too different from some major festival lineups from 2015, but it certainly sets the tone for what fans will likely see when Coachella, Lollapalooza, & Bonnarro begin to make their own announcements.

Taking place from June 16-19 this year, fans will see some great headlining sets from Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Florence & the Machine, deadmau5 and more. The strength of this festival isn’t just on the top row, as Firefly is inviting a number of great acts irregardless of what set-time and stage they play on. With performances from Ellie Goulding, Blink-182, Tame Impala, A$AP Rocky, Major Lazer, Ludacris, Earth Wind & Fire, Fetty Wap, Vince Staples and many more, Firefly will have something for everyone.

Earlier today, React Presents announced another huge addition to their festival lineup in Chicago. Adding to North Coast, Freaky Deaky and Spring Awakening, React has announced REACTION NEW YEAR’S EVE 2015. Coming to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL this New Year’s Eve, the two-day festival (Dec. 30-31) will host performances from deadmau5, Skrillex, Chance The Rapper, Run The Jewels, CHVRCHES, Purity Ring, Cashmere Cat, Cherub, BADBADNOTGOOD and many more! Yesterdau, Jay-Z’s new artist-owned streaming service TIDAL held a huge press conference with a lot of star-power. TIDAL describes itself as “the first music streaming service that combines the best High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music videos and expertly Curated Editorial.” In attendance for the press conference was Jay-Z, Beyonce, Kanye West, Jack White, Daft Punk, and Rihanna (just to name a few). Seeing so many great artists team up for one common goal, we couldn’t help but be reminded of the artists in the room that have made great music together in the past.

Of course Jay-Z has made a plethora of hits with friend Kanye West and wife Beyonce, but a lot of the collaborations in the room are maybe under your radar. So we took the liberty of creating a huge flowchart and guide to help you follow. Bonnaroo 2015 Lineup Revealed: Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau5, Childish Gambino & More

As opposed to just releasing a conventional lineup poster, Bonnaroo switched things up this year by allowing fans to take a part in the lineup announcement. After calling 1-844-ROO-2015, fans could get the name of an artist on this year’s lineup and make the announcement on social media. And who did they announce? Well let’s just say that “The Farm” will be as good as ever in 2015, with scheduled performances by Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Florence + the Machine, Billy Joel, Mumford and Sons, Deadmau5 and many more scheduled to perform.
