After missing consecutive years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and major flooding which rendered the festival grounds inoperable, the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is returning to Manchester, TN in 2022.
Running from June 16th to the 19th, The Farm will welcome a number of big times artists for one of the best music festivals in the world. Headling the festival in 2022 will be J. Cole, Stevie Nicks and Tool. In addition, artists like The Chicks, Flume, 21 Savage, Machine Gun Kelly, Roddy Ricch, The War on Drugs, Marc Rebillet, Billy Strings, Ludacris and more will perform.
If the artists above weren’t worth the price of admission, Jack Antonoff will curate this year’s Superjam, which will easily be one of the most talked about sets for the year.
Festival passes go on sale starting Thursday, January 13th at 12:00 p.m. (Central) via Ticketmaster.
Young Thug has recruited some all-star talent for his new track, ‘The London’.
Teaming up with J. Cole and Travis Scott, the rap trio makes for a perfect combination on the new track. The song artwork was revealed earlier this week during Thugger’s “Meet Me At The London” livestream, which centered on a female subject painting a spider, while another subject filled a pinata with Skittles, before the song arrived to fans as a surprise.
Well there definitely will be features on this one, as J. Cole announced that his new Dreamville compilation album, titled Revenge of the Dreamers III, is on its way.
The third installment from Cole’s Dreamville label’s fan favorite series, the sessions for the upcoming project will take place from January 6th to January 16th. We don’t yet know the release date for the album, but fans already can’t wait!
Check out J. Cole’s Revenge of the Dreamers III promo poster below.
When news first broke about an interview with J. Cole and Lil Pump, the internet didn’t know how to handle it. After Pump’s ‘F*ck J. Cole* track and after J. Cole took (well intentioned) shots at Pump, with his KOD track ‘1985’, fans wouldn’t expect to catch the two in the same room, none the less on good terms.
Fast forward days later, the two both performed at Miami’s Rolling Loud Music Festival, where footage leaked of Lil Pump dancing side stage to J. Cole during his ‘1985’ performance. Was it a troll? Where the two on good terms? No one knew.
And now the two have set their musical differences aside, as J. Cole and Lil Pump sat down to interview each other and have an hour-long conversation about music. The two may not have a lot of cross over in their fan bases, but the interview is a must watch.
New year, new location, new lineup, but the one thing that didn’t change is the amazing experience that Rolling Loud provides to fans in Miami. Now held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, the world’s premiere rap music festival kicked off it’s amazing 2018 lineup today.
With highly anticipated performances from J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, N.E.R.D, Young Thug, Tory Lanez, The Diplomats, Russ and many more, fans had a ton of artists to choose from on Friday. Where else can you see Lil Uzi Vert try to top his viral 2017 performance and hear cuts from J. Cole’s brand new album, KOD?
Following a string of festival performances throughout the country, including headlining performances at Rolling Loud and Summerfest, J. Cole will hit the road for a headlining tour of his own, with special guest Young Thug.
Kicking off on August 9th, at Miami’s American Airlines Arena, J. Cole’s KOD tour will make stops in Dallas, Anaheim, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans and many more, until the tour concludes on October 10th in Boston.
This will be one of the hottest tours of the summer and fall, so be sure to get your tickets when they go on sale May 12th at 10AM (local time) at LiveNation.com.
We shouldn’t really need to spell out reasons of why you need to attend Rolling Loud this year, the stacked lineup practically sells itself, but we’re going to anyways.
Not only is the rap music festival in Miami arguably the best music festival of the year (for a second straight year), but fans will have opportunities to hear a bunch of exclusive performances for the first time. From La Flame to Postey and more, you can expect a number of artists to make some live debuts at Rolling Loud.
Check out our list of our five reasons you can’t miss Rolling Loud 2018 below.
It’s the best festival lineup of the year
Let’s be real, for the second straight year, Rolling Loud’s Miami festival has the best lineup of all music festivals. Perhaps even the greatest rap festival lineup of all-time, this year’s lineup boasts performances from Future, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, N.E.R.D., Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Post Malone, Russ and many more. From Friday to Sunday, start to finish, Rolling Loud has the best rappers in the game right now!
Party like a rockstar to Beerbongs & Bentleys
Post Malone is celebrating the release of his brand new album, Beerbongs and Bentleys, and fans will get a chance to hear Post perform the album’s tracks live at Rolling Loud this year. Don’t be surprised if Post Malone makes a number of live performance debuts from the new LP in Miami next month.
New music from Travis Scott?
Travis Scott possibly had the best set at Rolling Loud last year, and you should expect him to deliver the same energy for his performance this year. Anything can happen at the night show, even the debut of new music. Travis Scott told fans on Twitter today that this week is the week that fans eat, which likely means new music. Scott and Kanye West hinted at the release of a brand new collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, so perhaps La Flame and Uzi will perform the track at Rolling Loud. Wishful thinking!
The undercard is ridiculously good
It’s not just the headliners that make Rolling Loud 2018 so great! A simply review of the festival poster will show you how deep the lineup really is this year. You shouldn’t only be excited for J. Cole and Travis Scott, you also need to get excited for Smino, Jaden Smith, Juvenile, Bas, Lil Xan, Wifisfuneral and J.I.D. to name a few.
Be one of the first to hear KOD live
J. Cole just released his new record breaking album, KOD, and it’s an instant fan favorite. Cole’s loyal fan base will definitely come in waves for Rolling Loud 2018, and Rolling Loud will be Cole’s first U.S. performance since releasing the album. Therefore it will be your first chance to hear the new LP live and in person. Needless to say, you’ll want to be at Rolling Loud in person as J. Cole shuts thing down on Friday night.
J. Cole has joined the likes of Jay-Z, Perry Farrell, Common and Justin Vernon, by launching his very own music festival.
Taking place in Raleigh, North Carolina (Cole’s home state), the Dreamville Music Festival, named after Cole’s label, will take place on September 15th at Dorothea Dix Park. Although the lineup has yet to be released, fans can expect more information soon and don’t be surprised if J. Cole himself will headline the anticipated music fest.
Pre-sale tickets for the festival are already sold out, but tickets range from just $59 to $99.
Cole is currently enjoying the record breaking success of his brand new album, KOD, so fans from J. Cole’s home state would definitely love the chance to hear it live to end their summer and kick off the fall.
