Summer is practically over but that doesn’t mean that live music in the Windy City has to come to an end. Last year’s Summer Smash was easily one of the best festivals of the year. With performances from A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, Chance The Rapper, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk and many more, the Chicago festival, curated by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett, was a can’t miss.
Building off their momentum from last year’s epic festival, this summer’s fest is just as impressive and organizers have just shared the official daily lineup with some brand new additions. Kicking things off on Friday, June 17th will be Wiz Khalifa, Trippie Redd, Lil Skies, Rico Nasty and headliner Lil Uzi Vert who will look to top his 2021 performance.
Saturday’s lineup is just as great, as Post Malone will deliver his first performance following the June 3rd release of his latest LP, “Twelve Carat Toothache”. Hitting the stage before Posty will be Polo G, Ski Mask The Slump God, Bia and G Herbo to name a few.
Last but not least, on Sunday, Playboi Carti will headline alongside the festivals undercard like Oliver Tree, Lil Yachty, 2 Chainz and more.
Tickets are on sale now at the festival’s official website, with single day passes starting at under $100.

Tyler, The Creator’s amazing Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival blessed Los Angeles with another year of great music but at a brand location, LA’s Dodger Stadium. With a new venue and an epic lineup, the closing day of this year’s carnival saw performances from Post Malone, Jaden Smith, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Taco with special guests Tyler, The Creator and Juice WRLD, Jorja Smith and a very special headlining performance by Kanye West and Kid Cudi for their Kids See Ghosts album.

After an amazing day one of Lollapalooza, where fans saw performances from Travis Scott, Camila Cabello and more, it was hard to imagine how things could get even better on Friday.
However, Lollapalooza again delivered on day two, as Post Malone, Tyler The Creator, Greta Van Fleet, Bebe Rexha and more helped make for an epic and diverse day of music at Chicago’s Grant Park.

Is there anyone bigger than Post Malone right now? With a number of his songs on constant rotation on your favorite radio station and with his new sophomore LP, beerbongs & bentleys, which broke a number of streaming records and was certified platinum in four days, Postie is on top of the rap game in 2018.
So of course Chicago came out in massive numbers to catch Post Malone and 21 Savage at the lake front’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, even though fans could have just as easily waited for Post to hit the stage at Bonnaroo in a couple of months.
Setting the stage for Malone was his ‘rockstar’ collaborator, 21 Savage. Savage put on a great co-headlining set that kept the entire crowd satisfied. Performing his best tracks like ‘Bank Account’, ‘No Heart’, ‘X’ and verses from some of his biggest collaborations, 21 Savage has the crowd going wild from start to finish.
And if a 21 Savage concert wasn’t enough, moments after 21 stepped off stage, it was time for Post Malone to greet the sold-out crowd in Chicago. Although the production of his performances hasn’t changed much since his tours past, the Texas native is now a household name in rap.
No more opening performances where the crowd just knows the hook to a couple songs, Post Malone is on a whole different level from his ‘White Iverson’ days. And although A.I. and Carl Malone weren’t known for throwing it down, Post Malone delivered a slam dunk for his Windy City fans tonight.
