Milwaukee’s Summerfest 2015, the World’s Largest Music Festival, is over half way done and it has definitely delivered. Unlike many other premiere music festivals, Summerfest (which runs until July 5th) brings an especially diverse list of performers to Milwaukee’s lakefront every year, creating for a festival where you can see Kanye West (who performed in 2011) share the same stage as Peter Gabriel and Kid Rock. So to get things started for The Early Registration’s first year at Summerfest, we had to catch a wide variety of acts all festival long.

Check out our Summerfest Day 7 photos below, of Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Phil Vassar, Aloe Blacc, the Manchester Orchestra, Gemini Club and Brand New.

Meek Mill Says He is Not Inspired by J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar

Meek Mill has nothing but positive things to say about his rap peers, J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. However, when it comes to artists that inspire him, Meek said in a recent interview with Angie Martinez, that Cole and Kendrick do not make the cut. “They’re dope lyricists, great rappers…but they don’t inspire me. They don’t seem like they’re talking to me. And that ain’t no hate,” Meek said when speaking on Kendrick and Cole.

When it comes to the artist that Meek listens to he listed the likes of Future, Dej Loaf, Young Thug and Jay-Z. No disrespect intended from Meek, but it will be interesting to see if Kendrick or Cole give the rapper a friendly reminder of why they should inspire him. After all, they put out two of the best rap albums in the past year (and it isn’t even debtable).

Fans not only saw performances from some of music’s biggest names, like Kendrick Lamar and Mumford & Sons, but Manchester, TN also saw sets from some amazing emerging artists (Raury, Sylvan Esso) and even a few surprises (Jon Hamm and Zach Galifiankis?!). From Childish Gambino to the Piano Man, Bonnaroo had something for everyone this year.

Taylor Swift Recruits Kendrick Lamar for “Bad Blood”

BY TER STAFF

Ever since Taylor Swift shared a video of herself rapping some Kendrick Lamar in her car, the two have had an unlikely friendship. And now the two artists have finally combined forces, for T-Swift’s record ‘Bad Blood’, which fans can buy now on iTunes. And if the song itself wasn’t enough, the two also recorded an awesome action-filled music video mini action film for the track. The two aren’t the only ones who star in the video either. King Kendrick and Taylor are also joined by Cindy Crawford, Jessica Alba, Lena Dunham, Selena Gomez, Mariska Hargitay, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Ellie Goulding, Gigi Hadid, Ellen Pompeo, Zendaya, and many more.

Check out the ‘Bad Blood’ video below.

Last week a full original version to Kanye West’s ‘All Day’ track with Kendrick Lamar appeared online. Well as it turns out, it wasn’t actually a full version, as a new and better quality version with a full verse from King Kendrick (and new intro) has now surfaced. We weren’t huge fans of the last remix, but this one is definitely hot. If this didn’t make the final cut for Kanye’s forthcoming So Help Me God album, we can only imagine what will.

Listen to the new ‘All Day’ demo featuring Kendrick Lamar below.

Festival Itinerary: Sasquatch 2015

Is there a time of the year better than music festival season? We say no. And we just got even more excited for the upcoming season as Sasquatch! Music Festival announced their full schedule, as well as a few new additions to their lineup. This year Sasquatch takes places from Friday, May 22nd to Monday, May 25th at The Gorge in George, Washington. Fans will see performances from Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Modest Mouse, St. Vincent and more (get your tickets here).

The one downfall of any good music festival though is there are too many great sets to catch, with not enough time. If only we could be two (sometimes three) places at once. But now with the full schedule for Sasquatch available for music fans, we have compiled our suggested festival itinerary to help the Pacific Northwest plan out their full Sasquatch experience. Or if you prefer, create your own schedule at Sasquatch’s official website.
