New year, new location, new lineup, but the one thing that didn’t change is the amazing experience that Rolling Loud provides to fans in Miami. Now held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, the world’s premiere rap music festival kicked off Day 2 on Saturday afternoon.
Fans in attendance on Saturday were able to enjoy performances from Travis Scott, the Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, Lil Pump, Fetty Wap and many more, so needless to say the day was lit from the moment gates opened until La Flame shut it down.
Crowd surfing at concerts, while extremely fun, can often go wrong. Not only do you have to trust a crowd of strangers to catch you, but as rapper Wifisfuneral learned last night in Houston, you also have to trust someone not to kill the moment by jumping you while you’re defenseless.
During the opening night of XXXTentacion’s headlining “Revenge Tour”, Florida native Wifisfuneral decided to crowd surf at the House of Blues in Houston, TX. But just moments after the fans caught him, a “fan” can be seen punching Wifi, as shown in the fan captured video below. One thing is for sure, you can definitely expect XXXTentacion’s concert to be wild. Wifi later shared a selfie with fans though to show that he is okay.
Watch the fan captured video of the incident below.
As expected, King Kendrick killed it tonight for the sold out crowd at Rolling Loud 2017. With headlining sets from Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug, and supporting performances from other top names in rap, including Run The Jewels, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, as well as sets from emerging stars in the genre like Florida-native XXXTentacion, Jazz Cartier and Dreezy, the Miami festival continued to provide the best rap lineup in music festivals to date.
Check out our photos below, of what the second day of Rolling Loud had to offer this year. Tomorrow will mark the last day of the mega rap festival.
