Looks like drama is building up between rappers 50 Cent and A$AP Rocky. It all started as A$AP Rocky sent a direct message to 50 Cent’s girl “Tatted Up Holly” over Instagram, where Rocky messaged “HEY LUV, I REALLY LIKE UR STYLE AND WOULD LUV TO BUILD IF UR FREE.”Then after Holly sent the message 50’s way, the rapper put Rocky on blast on his Instagramby posting a screenshot of the DM and the caption “Boy of boy, last time I seen this punk he had a dress on. You cant afford holly I gave her habits, get your weight up first boy. Bentley and better over here n*gga. can you buy that? f*ck you think. I’, Kanye and you Wiz lol.” Nice jab at Wiz too, we must say.
Soon after Rocky was quick to respond on his Twitter, telling 50 that he didn’t know “she was (50’s)” and to “quit acting like a jealous sugar daddy.” Get your popcorn ready and check to see if the tension builds up. Check out the messages below.
After announcing the release of his upcoming album, Big Sean just shocked the world- twice. After teasing the release on on his Snapchat, Sean dropped the second single for Dark Sky Paradise, ‘Blessings’, following his hit single ‘IDFWU’. The track features Drake on hook and guest verse duty with production from OVO power producers Boi-1da and Vinlyz. Now, only about an hour later, the track has been re-released on Sean’s Soundcloud with a verse from his mentor, Kanye West. After releasing ‘FourFiveSeconds‘ and ‘Only One‘, there was speculation that Kanye had left rap to sing once again, mirroring his 2008 album 808’s & Heartbreak. Ye silences the critics on this new record, appearing unexpectedly at the end to drop a verse, with topics ranging from him sending Snapchat pictures to his daughter being homeschooled. Listen below.
Big day for Chance the Rapper as his new feature with GQ was released, and to continue the momentum Chance is The Fader‘s new cover artist. The piece focuses on Chance’s Social Experiment group, which includes Chance himself, Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, and Nate Fox. The piece gives more details on the collective as well as the group’s upcoming album Surf, which The FADER explains how the project is often mislabeled as a Chance the Rapper album (while he is just one member of the group). Surf, which centers around the group’s Donnie Trumpet, is expected to release soon and is one of our Most Anticipated Albums of 2015.
Check out The FADER‘s cover shoot below, check out the full feature, and stream The Social Experiment’s Surf track ‘Sunday Candy’ below.
In his recent feature with GQ, Chicago’s Chance the Rapper spilled some awesome details about his debut LP. When speaking about Chance’s debut LP’s guest features, GQ’s Byard Duncan writes “His subsequent guest appearances—nasally breathless, startlingly precocious—gained the attention of artists like Frank Ocean, J. Cole, and André 3000, all of whom will appear on his yet to be named debut LP.” If we weren’t already, this definitely has us hype for Chance’s debut album, especially since his last mixtape Acid Rap was critically acclaimed and an excellent follow-up to his 10 Day project.

Big news day for Kanye West. According to Daniel Lindstrom, fashion director of Swedish men’s fashion magazine “Café”, the line will be released in New York in just two weeks. Lindstrom photographed Jerry Lorenzo (founder of “Fear the God”) on Instagram, where he revealed the news. Let’s hope this is true! Justin Bieber went on “Fahlo” last night to apologize for his arrogant behavior in the past year and a half, explaining, “I’m not who I was pretending to be.” In the dark (in lighting and in content) video, Bieber tells the world in a sincere apology, “I’m not that person to say I don’t give a f*ck. I’m not that kid.” We can’t speak for everyone, but we forgive you Bieber. Sure, the kid (man) has done some dumb stuff at times but lets not forget that anything even kind of bad that he does, every media outlet is all over it. What people also forget is all the good that Bieber does. The Biebs holds the record for granting the most wishes (all-time) for the Make a Wish Foundation. I am pretty sure that trumps all the “bad” stuff he has ever done. Check out the full apology below.
