Donald Glover Has Signed with RCA Records for the “Next Phase of Childish Gambino”

Donald Glover will continue the journey of his Childish Gambino moniker with RCA Records. Announced this morning, Glover and his label/agency Wolf + Rothstein have signed a new recording and label deal with RCA.

Speaking on the news, RCA Record’s Chairman/CEO Peter Edge shared that RCA is “excited to join forces with (Glover) and Wolf + Rothstein to usher in the next phase of Childish Gambino’s musical career.” Currently, Glover’s next Childish Gambino album is scheduled to be his last, but let’s hope that this new partnership will put a change to that.

Vic Mensa Shares Powerful Music Video for “We Could Be Free”

Off his new album, The Autobiography, Chicago’s Vic Mensa has shared the powerful new music video for his Ty Dolla $ign assisted track, ‘We Could Be Free’.

The black and white music video also contains a cameo from GOOD Music‘s Malik Yusef, and displays a number of strong images displaying various struggles of different minority groups in America. If you haven’t yet, be sure to get Mensa’s 2017 LP, his deepest and most political project to date.

Justin Timberlake ‘Supplies’ Fans with Another New Song & Video from New Album

Justin Timberlake is going political with the visuals for his Man of the Woods track, ‘Supplies’, just one of many new songs/videos that will be released every Thursday until the release of JT’s forthcoming LP.

Man of the Woods is currently slated for a February 2nd release, just before his highly anticipated half-time performance at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis, and the first taste of Timberlake’s forthcoming tour. ‘Supplies’ is the second track from the forthcoming album, which now joins the LP’s lead single ‘Filthy’.

Citi Sound Vault Is Bringing Childish Gambino & Eminem to New York’s Historic Irving Plaza

Citi Sound Vault is bringing two of its biggest concerts yet, to New York City fans this month. Coming to NYC’s historic Irving Plaza will be Childish Gambino and Eminem.

Eminem is currently scheduled to perform on January 25th, while Donald Glover (Gambino) will perform on January 27th. If you want your chance at tickets, and are a Citi cardholder, fans can register for tickets for the shows here.

Seeing Gambino and Eminem live in such an intimate venue is beyond rare, so good luck to those registering for tickets!

Two of Florida’s hottest rappers have combined forces for ‘Roll In Peace’, Kodak Black’s new track and music video with the always controversial XXXTentacion.

While both rappers not only rep Florida, but also have had their shares of drama and legal issues, it was only right that the two collaborate for the new track. You can certainly expect a lot from both Kodak and XXXTentacion in 2018.

After delivering a number of memorable Windy City performances throughout the years, singer Lana Del Rey performed her first ever arena show in Chicago tonight, at the city’s historic United Center.

Performing in support of her 2017 album, Lust For Life, Lana’s “La to the Moon Tour” brings the singer’s nostalgic charm, beautiful vocals and catalog of singles and fan favorites to a number of cities across North America. Tonight was certainly no exception.

Summerfest Adds Halsey, James Taylor & Florida Georgia Line for Festival’s First Headliners of 2018

It’s still freezing in Milwaukee, but that won’t stop music fans in Wisconsin from counting down the days until Summerfest, the city’s huge summer music festival.

And to get the ball rolling, festival organizers surprised fans with three big announcements, the first headliners that will perform at the festival’s brand new American Family Insurance Amphitheater. Headlining for their respective days will be Halsey (with Logic), James Taylor (with Bonnie Raitt) and the return of Florida Georgia Line, which was just announced this morning.

Tickets for the above concerts will go on sale at various times, so be sure to visit Summerfest.com for tickets and more information, and stay tuned as the ground stage headliners and more amphitheater headliners will be announced in the near future.

 

Eminem, The Killers & Muse Top Bonnaroo’s 2018 Lineup

One of the nation’s top and most unique festivals, Bonnaroo dropped its 2018 festival lineup this morning. With headlining performances from Eminem, The Killers & Muse, fans at The Farm will also catch performances from Future, two unique sets from Bon Iver, Sturgill Simpson, Khalid, Paramore, Dua Lipa, Sheryl Crow, Bassnectar, Sylvan Esso and many more.

Bonnaroo will return to its normal grounds in Manchester, Tennessee, this year from June 7th to the 10th. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, January 12th at 10AM ET via Bonnaroo’s official website.

Justin Timberlake Announces Headlining “Man Of The Woods” Tour

Just days after the release of his Man of the Woods debut single, ‘Filthy’, Justin Timberlake has shared the dates for his headlining tour of the same name.

His first tour since 2013-2014, JT’s headlining Man of the Woods North American Tour will kick off on March 13th in Toronto, and will make stops in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Montreal and many more, until the tour concludes in Timberlake’s home of Memphis on May 30th.

Tickets will go on pre-sale for American Express card holders on January 10th at 10 AM, with general on-sale beginning on January 16th and January 22nd.
