Lollapalooza Sells Out of 3-Day Passes in Under an Hour; Lineup Releases Tomorrow

Well if you want to go to Lollapalooza all-weekend this year, it’s too late (or you will have to buy three single-day passes), as Lollapalooza sold-out of its $250 early bird weekend passes and its $275 GA 3-day passes in less than an hour! Tickets went on sale today (March 24) at 10:00 AM CT and were gone by 10:48 AM.

The silver lining is that the official lineup for Lollapalooza 2015 will release tomorrow at 6:00 AM. Fans will then have their only opportunity to pick up the remaining (1-day) passes at 10:00 AM. Do not sleep on getting tickets if you have so far, because Lollapalooza this year is expected to be huge as always!

Chicago’s Lollapalooza runs from July 31st to August 2nd this year, downtown at Grand Park. Check out Lollapalooza.com for more information.

Summerfest Reveals its 2015 Lineup

“The World’s Largest Music Festival” Summerfest has just revealed its 2015 lineup, and as always it is long and diverse! This year’s Marcus Amphitheater headliners include Kendrick Lamar with Schoolboy Q, Kings of Leon, Zac Brown Band, and Linkin Park, Ed Sheeran and more. Those tickets can be purchased separately at Ticketmaster.com (which include admission into the Summerfest grounds).

Highlights for the ground stage performers on this year’s line-up includes Lupe Fiasco, The Flaming Lips, Weird Al Yankovic, Magic!, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Lecrea, Meg Myers, Bastille, AWOLNATION, Vance Joy, a DJ set from Paris Hilton, Public Enemy, Santigold, The New Pornographers, Kansas, Gary Clark Jr. Summerfest runs from June 24-28 and June 30 – July 5 in Milwaukee, WI.

Lollapalooza 3-Day Passes on Sale March 24 at 10 AM

If you tend to sleep in on Tuesdays, set your alarm to make sure you grab your Lollapalooza 3-day passes tomorrow (March 24) at 10:00 AM CT. Chicago’s Lollapalooza runs from July 31st to August 2nd this year, downtown at Grand Park. These will sell out (likely even before the lineup is announced) so get them while you can! 3-day passes range from $250 (early bird) to $275, and the $110 1-day passes should be released sometime after. If things run similar to years past, the lineup should be announced either tomorrow or within the next few days.

UNCUT: Rolling Stones Guitarist Ronnie Wood’s Glastonbury Comments on Kanye West are Racist

I was always on the Rolling Stones side of the Beatles vs. Stones debate… until today. Speaking with the U.K.’s Daily Mirror, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood thinks it’s “bloody ridiculous” that Kanye West is headlining Glastonbury and to be honest, it came off “bloody racist.” Talking in response to a recent online petition, that gathered thousands of signatures to remove Kanye from Glastonbury’s lineup, Wood said “It’s bloody ridiculous that Kanye is the headline act this year. It pisses me off so I try not to think about it too much.” Wood supported tried to support his comments by saying:

J. Cole saved hip-hop last year, making him our “2014 Man of the Year”, and while 2015 doesn’t need saving, with a bunch of great rap releases already hitting shelves this year, J. Cole is still finding a way to make 2015 his year as well. Although he is currently on his Forest Hills Drive Tour, which has three different legs this spring and summer, J. Cole today released his official music video for his 2014 Forest Hills Drive track ‘G.O.M.D.’

The video (and track), titled ‘Glass & Patron’, is an official music video for today’s YouTube Music Awards. Kendrick Lamar to Headline Summerfest 2015 on July 1st

Joining headlining acts Kings of Leon, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line and more, Milwaukee’s Summerfest has announced its first rap/hip-hop act of 2015. Performing July 1 at the Marcus Amphitheater will be To Pimp a Butterfly’s Kendrick Lamar with special guest and fellow TDE rapper, SchoolBoy Q. You can get your tickets beginning at 10 am on April 10th at the Summerfest box office or at Ticketmaster.com. Prices have yet to be announced but your ticket will include admission to the Summerfest ground stages. This year the “World’s Largest Music Festival” runs from June 24th to the 28th and June 30 to July 5th.
