From his recent Fuk Wat They Talkin Bout mixtape, Tyga released his new music video for ‘Glitter’ today. Making references to his relationship with Kylie Jenner (we will assume he wrote this rap after she turned 18) in the new record, you can get the mixtape now on iTunes, while Tyga drives through Los Angeles in his new music video. Watch the official music video for ‘Glitter’ below.
Tyga has found himself in the tabloids a lot in the past year, not because of his rapping or beef with Drake but because of his relationship with Kylie Jenner. But Tyga doesn’t care what a magazine has to say, and he makes this clear in his new track ‘Hollywood Niggaz’. The record is off Tyga’s forthcoming LP, The Gold Album, and even if you aren’t the biggest Tyga fan, this one is definitely worth checking out. It might surprise you.
Listen to ‘Hollywood Niggaz’ below and buy it now on iTunes.
It has become a Coachella tradition for its performers to bring out big name artists for surprise appearances. Drake has made it a tradition of his own to bring out surprise guests, no matter where he is. In the past, Drizzy has brought out Kanye West, Eminem, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, TLC, Stevie Wonder, A$AP Rocky, J. Cole, Ma$e, Lauryn Hill… need we go on? So we can’t even begin to imagine who Drake will bring out for arguably the biggest live performance of his career, as he headlines the closing night at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival next month. Correction… we can imagine it. And we did! Hit the jump to check out our photoshopped fantasy headlines of the absolute best scenarios for how Drake’s set can go next month.

This year, February was jam packed with great releases from a variety of artists. Some came to us as a surprise, others beating expectations, and some just simply getting it right. Check out some of the best releases the month of February had to offer.
The year 2010 was a big year for hip-hop. Nicki Minaj cemented her place with Pink Friday, Wiz Khalifa dropped the stoner bible with Kush and OJ and Kanye West graced us with one of the greatest albums of all time, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. There was also a collaborative effort by two heavy-hitters that was being played in clubs and bedrooms everywhere. I’m talking, of course, about Chris Brown and Tyga’s mixtape, Fan of a Fan. The mixtape, naturally, was a hit and even landed at #2 on Datpiff.com’s list of “Top Mixtapes of 2010”. It had what you would expect from Chris Brown and Tyga as a tag team duo; songs suited for the bedroom and the rest, meant to be played through the type of speakers you would find in a club. Nothing out of the ordinary, but what set it apart from similar projects was its stellar production, undeniably catchy choruses and punchlines that would make Lil Wayne proud.
Drake’s new surprise album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Lateis full of disses to his fellow labelmates. In his track ‘No Tellin”, Drake throws shade at his new OVO Sound artist iLoveMakonnen and in the album’s closing track ‘6PM in New York’ Drake takes shots at fellow Young Money/Cash Money (YMCMB) rapper Tyga. In the track, Drake raps “I heard the lil lil homie talking reckless in Vibe. It’s quite a platform you chose, you should have kept it inside. Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world’s stage. You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.” Referencing Tyga’s interview with Vibe where he revealed that he didn’t like Drake, Drake takes a jab at Tyga and his relationship with his 17 year-old girlfriend Kylie Jenner. No mercy from Drizzy on these records!
Check out rapper Tyga’s new video for his track ‘Make It Work’, which features an appearance by Drake’s ex-girlfriend Dollicia Bryan. This should come as no surprise as Tyga recently expressed his dislike for his former label-mate Drake. Look out for Tyga’s new album The Gold Album soon, which will be put out independently and not through Cash Money Records after a much publicized feud between Tyga and his label affiliates.
The beef is only getting stronger! After recent troubles with his label YMCMB, and airing out his dislike for label mate Drake, Tyga has released a new track dissing the rapper. This one is titled ‘Make It Work’ and is produced by SAP (Mac Miller, The Game).
