Check Out the Official After Parties for Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival

If you were anywhere near Chicago this weekend, then you know that music festivals in the Windy City do not just end after the night’s last performance. To fully experience a music festival you need to cap your night with an official after party. And if you’re going to the North Coast Music Festival this year, then luckily you will have many after parties to choose from, as the festival has announced 16 official parties after the party in Union Park wraps up. Fans will be able to choose from parties with Chromeo, Salva, Until the Ribbon Breaks, Steve Aoki and many more, so don’t miss out!

We aren’t only giving away a pair of festival passes to Summer Set, as we are also giving away a pair of 3-Day GA passes to see D’Angelo, Widespread Panic, Wale, Chromeo, Steve Aoki, The Roots and many more at Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival! This year North Coast, the “Summer’s Last Stand”, will take place from September 4th through the 6th at the Windy City’s Union Park (1501 W. Randolph). North Coast is also happy to announce that they will bring back their Silent Disco tent this year, which will feature a double DJ booth with two separate channels of music on every headphone, so fans will be able to switch between each DJ.

North Coast Music Festival Announces 2015 Lineup: D’Angelo, The Roots, Steve Aoki & More

Get ready Chicago! North Coast Music Festival is closing out the long Chicago summer with another packed lineup this year. Just announced today, North Coast will see 2015 performances from D’Angelo and the Vanguard, The Chemical Brothers, Steve Aoki, Wale, The Roots, Twin Shadow, Galactic with Macy Gray, RAC, Portugal. The Man, Chromeo, Atmosphere, and many many more! There will also be an announcement of a “very special rock headliner” on May 12th, so stay tuned!

This year’s North Coast will take place from September 4-6 (Labor Day Weekend) at Chicago’s Union Park. Get your tickets now!

The city of Chicago took a step towards public health and wellness Wednesday by banning smoking in public parks, a city where restaurants and bars have been smoke free for several years. Although this is the next step to making the citizens of Chicago curb their unhealthy smoking habits, will there be a negative health effect for music festival goers?

Action Bronson Jumps Into Crowd and Takes Performance to Different Stage at NCMF

Earlier this summer at Ottawa’s Bluesfest, Action Bronson continued to rap during his set while walking from the stage to the port-o-pottys. Tonight at Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival he may have topped himself. After jumping into the crowd in the middle of his performance at NCMF’s ‘773 Stage’ Action made his way through his crowd and walked on the ‘312 Stage’, which was setting up for Bassnectar’s headlining performance.
