Time to thank the Based God, because Lil B has released his brand new 34-track mixtape. Titled Options, Lil B gives you 30+ options for your new favorite song of the month.
The follow-up to his Platinum Flame project from this past May, the new mixtape even offers a re-work of Childish Gambino’s critically acclaimed track, ‘This Is America’.
Thank you Based God! To celebrate his 27th birthday, Lil B has blessed fans with his highly anticipated Black Ken mixtape. Featuring his iLoveMakonnen collaboration ‘Global’, as well as 26 more tracks, Black Ken is just what Lil B fans have been asking for.
Will this mark the return of Lil B, who has been relatively quite as late? Only time will tell. But hopefully Lil B will take a break from cursing your favorite sport stars and maybe he will take Black Ken on the road in the near future.
While an artist sharing a photo of one of his fellow musicians isn’t normally headline worthy, when it’s shared by Lil B The Based God, or has anything remotely to due with the missing in action singer/songwriter Frank Ocean, it’s more than newsworthy. And today we have just that, as Lil B shared a very rare and very based photo of the ‘Thinkin Bout You’ singer on Instagram.
What is Frank doing in the photo? Just what we can expect, as fans have been patiently and desperately awaiting his sophomore album Boys Don’t Cry, sleeping. Jokes aside, if this foreshadows any sort of collaboration between the two, or the interview Ocean conducted with The Based God, we are more than happy.

Lil B has made history today by becoming the first artist to cover a song so well that in doing so the song is now his, or at least that’s how he put it. Rapping over O.T. Genasis’ 2014 record ‘CoCo’, the BasedGod’s new track, titled ‘In Love With The BasedGod’ is so based and rare that “WOW COCO HIS SONG NOW”, according to the rapper’s YouTube.
If you’re a fan of the BasedGod, then this is the track for you. It’s the first new music that we’ve heard from Lil B in a bit now, and another record from his forthcoming andhighly anticipated Thugged Out Pissed Off mixtape.

We love the Based God, and so does Odd Future and A$AP Rocky, so when A$AP and Tyler The Creator’s “Rocky and Tyler Tour” finished off it’s current leg in San Francisco, it was only destined that the Bay’s own, rapper Lil B, make a surprise appearance. During A$AP Rocky’s headlining set last night, the At. Long. Last. ASAP rapper brought out Lil B the Based God for a very rare and based surprise performance. #TYBG

The definition of a based freestyle is simple: spitting bars in a stream-of-consciousness manner that can tell a story or simply express the emcee’s emotions. On Free (BASED FREESTYLE MIXTAPE), a collaboration between based-originator Lil B and rising superstar Chance The Rapper, each rapper opts for one of the aforementioned takes on based freestyles and runs with it for the EP’s half an hour of hip-hop at its most eclectic.
In case you thought they were joking, they weren’t, as Chicago’s Chance The Rapper and Lil B The Based God have joined forces to release a new collaborative mixtape, and it’s available now. The new project is titled Free, and it’s a collection of based freestyles and it is very rare! Very very rare! Thank the Based God and press play because Chance and Lil B have made history to create this unique project, which you will not want to sleep on.
Thank You Based God! Lil B The Based God is currently in Chicago for a private concert that took place last night with OVO’s iLoveMakonnen, and during his stay he paid a visit to Chicago’s own, Chance The Rapper. With this meet up came great news, as Chance and Lil B both announced that they made an album together, that Lil B describes as a “based freestyle album.” No word on when the album will be released (let’s just hope that it does get released), but it will be cool to see how the two work together, while taking on Lil B’s unique rap flow.

Forget about ghosts, demons, spiders and your grandma’s feet; there is something else to be afraid of now. That something is the “Based God’s Curse”. The curse is said to have originated deep within the Amazon Forest and was used by native tribes to…okay not really. It is a curse placed by Lil B (“The Based God”), and it is meant to ruin that person’s fortune, success and in extreme cases, even causing foot fractures.
Watch A$AP Rocky’s newest video for his track ‘LSD’. The Dexter Navy directed (and A$AP Rocky co-directed) video is our first taste of the record, which is from A$AP forthcoming At.Long.Last.A$AP LP. And who better to premiere this one then Lil B The Based God, who shared the video on his Twitter. ‘LSD’s trippy visuals will certainly get you excited for Rocky’s upcoming album!
