Although the special filmed last month, tonight aired the B.E.T. Honors: What Extraordinary Looks Like program where Kanye West accepted the Visionary Award. The award was presented to Kanye from Dame Dash (founder of Roc-A-Fella Records), the man who introduced Kanye to the world. The highlights of Kanye’s speech included a hilarious jab at Kim Kardashian’s former boyfriends and a heartfelt story on race, shared to Kanye by Kim, about her late father, Robert Kardashian. Before he passed (as told by Kanye) Robert Kardashian’s car was vandalized with the slur “n*gger lover”, because of his legal defense of OJ Simpson. Soon after, Robert Kardashian tried to chase down the men who vandalized his Bentley. When a young Kim was uncertain why her father was so upset, since he was normally calm and mellow, Robert told his daughter, “one day you may have a black child… and it will be hard.” A powerful story that foreshadowed the harassment that Kim and many others still experience many years later.
Earlier this year we speculated about rumors of a Kanye West and Rihanna collaborative tour coming this year. The rumors seemed to hold weight as a picture has circulated on social media which advertised the tour, and the tour was confirmed by a source to LA Times’ writer Gerrick D. Kennedy. And who wouldn’t want to see ‘FourFiveSeconds’ live?! We tried not to get our hopes up though, until something was more official and now today the first date has been announced! Although the link has been since deleted by LiveNation (perhaps they posted the link too early), the first announced date of the tour will be July 25th, 2015 in Laululava, Estonia (Europe). Tickets go on sale, at least as originally announced, March 5th. Stay tuned for more information.

Pop up stores have really blown up the past couple years, and if there wasn’t already enough reasons to make one, now there’s one more as Kanye West paid a surprise visit to British designer Katie Eary‘s pop up store and turned it into an impromptu listening session for his forthcoming album. Eary took to Twitter less than an hour ago to thank Kanye, and his creative director (Off-White creator) Virgil Abloh, for stopping by. This isn’t the first time the two have met though, as Eary worked with Kanye on his fashion line. In an interview with Life + Times, Eary described the experience was “amazing”, saying that the fashion industry is far too critical of Kanye. Check out some of the tweets about Kanye’s visit below!
During his visit to Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club” this morning, Kanye West revealed to Charlamagne and friends the inspiration behind his Vic Mensa and Sia track ‘Wolves‘. “The Wolves song came from a conversation that me and Drake had, when we was gonna to do an album together. And the album was called Wolves,” said Kanye. Kanye also revealed that he hoped that revealing the inspiration would help the album actually happen. Wow! Both parties are interested, the two started sending beats for the album, now let’s just hope the two commit to the idea. Watch the whole interview below.
Although it appeared that the song may have been scraped, it now seems as Kanye West’s anticipated track ‘All Day’ is still coming out. Earlier today Kanye paid a visit to The Breakfast Club and told Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee that he was working (that day) on the track, with Vic Mensa and Q-Tip. Also today, Vic Mensa tweeted about the track. Originally, in his interview with GQ, Ye told fans that ‘All Day’ would be the first single from his forthcoming album. However, so far we have only heard a rough draft of the track that leaked. It may be a blessing though that it hasn’t came out yet, since now Vic Mensa is contributing to the final cut of the song.
It definitely was entertaining last time, and now (less than a year later) Kanye will be a guest on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” tomorrow, as he is in New York for New York Fashion Week. The Breakfast Club’s Charlamagne Tha God took to his Twitter today to announce the return of Yeezus. Check in tomorrow to see what news DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne can get out of Ye, or see if Kanye has had enough with Charlamagne’s trolling. Peep the tweets below and watch Kanye’s interview from last time.
Ralph Lauren took to their Twitter to post a backstage photograph of Kanye West meeting the American fashion God that is Ralph Lauren. The two met each other backstage at a runway show during New York Fashion Week this morning and Kanye looks like a kid on Christmas morning. If you don’t know just how much Kanye idolizes Ralph, you might need to re-watch Kanye’s infamous “It ain’t no Ralph tho” interview with Sway (also below). The respect is mutual though as Lauren made comments, during his Style.com interview, on Kanye’s “it ain’t Ralph tho” moment. “That’s very cool. Well, that’s great. If I were to cater to Kanye, he would know that I’m catering to him. The fact that I make what I make—he gets it. He gets the quality and he respects it. And I think that’s the key, why I work all the time is to do that. That’s the fun.” Check out the photo of the two below.

Listen to Big Sean’s new Dark Sky Paradise track with Kanye West and John Legend, titled ‘One Man Can Change The World’. The inspiring and emotional new song can be purchased now at Sainsbury’ Entertainment, and although we aren’t sure if this was a mistake on their part, we aren’t complaining as this is yet another great track from Sean’s forthcoming album. Credits go to the KanyeToThe on the discovery and the stream. Check out the emotional song below, which is dedicated to Sean’s late grandmother Mildred V. Leonard, who was one of the first black female Captains in World World II.
