Sunday wrapped up our amazing experience during our first year at Coachella. The weekend was surreal, as music fans saw performances from Drake, Lil B, The Weeknd, Tyler the Creator, FKA Twigs, Vic Mensa, Run The Jewels and many more! While we posted a small selection of our favorite photos last weekend, to share our experience with our readers, we will be posting new photo galleries from Coachella EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT MONTH. We saw over 30 great performances this past weekend and we will share our collection of photos of each until we run out!

With the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just a few days away and fans waiting patiently, the festival has finally released its 2015 Weekend 1 set times. Be sure to check out the set times carefully, as some artists’ performing dates have changed. For example, you will no longer have to choose between getting a good spot for Drake and seeing Lil B perform (#TYBG). Performing at Coachella this year will be Drake, Jack White, The Weeknd, AC DC, Tyler the Creator, Alesso and many more!
The first weekend of Coachella runs from Friday, April 10th until Sunday, April 12th. Check out the set times below or at Coachella’s official website.
Returning to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year is Heineken’s “Heineken House” experience. This unique Coachella party will feature a dance floor, drinks and a number of amazing acts. Heineken will also introduce “Your Mix. Your Mash.” where fans can create their own mash-ups as loops to mix their own tracks. After mixing a beat, you can relax while enjoying a game of cornhole with a cold Heineken.
It all boils down to the music though and performing at Heineken’s “ultimate house party” this year will be A-Trak, Questlove, Vice, Hot Dub Time Machine, Keys N Krates, SO SUPER SAM and many more. If you’re going to Coachella this year (and are 21 or over of course) be sure to stop by!
The Early Registration and React Presents are teaming up to give away a pair of tickets to Alison Wonderland’s upcoming show at The Mid in Chicago on April 24th, 2015. Catch her live, just days after she performs at Coachella! This is a 21+ event, but you will not want to miss out!
Winning is simple, in promotion of our new Facebook page, the more you help share The ER on social media, the better your chances of winning. One winner will be selected and the contest runs until April 23rd at 4:00 PM EDT. Hit the link for more details and eligibility rules. Don’t leave things to chance though, get your tickets now!
Last year Consequence of Sound posted a feature I wrote, titled “Let’s Play Moneyball with a Summer Music Festival”. In the piece I used price quotes of popular musicians to swap out acts from the 2014 lineup of Milwaukee’s music festival Summerfest, in attempts to also make “the World’s Largest Music Festival” also the world’s best music festival (in my opinion of course). This year I wanted to do the same, in anticipation of Summerfest releasing its full lineup within the next couple months. I used the estimated budget that I calculated last year and booked a number of great and relevant acts in 2015, to show just how great Summerfest COULD be (when the festival as is, is already pretty great!).
