Check out rapper/singer Kyle (‘Keep It Real’) and his new track with Kehlani, titled ‘Just A Picture’. Speaking to THE FADER, Kyle explained that the song “was inspired by the fear that there will be a ‘selfie class’ in middle school 20 years from now. Our kids grow up thinking that liking someone means double tapping their picture.” Stream the full track below and peep the cover art below.

The day the Coachella lineup drops always makes winter feel even more ‘wintery’, for lack of better words, as the first confirmation of acts gets fans initially hyped for the spring. This year Coachella will be held, again on two weekends, from Friday April 10-13 to April 17-20. And who made this years lineup? Someone for everyone, as this year Coachella will host Drake, Jack White, ACDC, the Weeknd, Interpol, Lil B, Tyler the creator, Vic Mensa, Florence and the Machine, and many many more. It had been awhile since we had heard new music from Kanye West and over a year since the release of Kanye’s latest studio album Yeezus. However, to kick off the new year Kanye surprised us all by dropping a new single, one nothing like Yeezus, and the one we had all been waiting for. Last year, rumors circulated that Kanye and The Beatles legendary frontman Paul McCartney were recording together and now we know the reports were true. Kanye’s newly released ballad ‘Only One’ features Sir Paul McCartney, as Kanye sings from the perspective of his late mother, Dr. Donda West, about Kanye and his new wife and daughter. If combining the talents of one of the greatest rappers of all-time and the leader of the most influential band of all-time were not enough in itself, the track as it stands could not be more beautiful. To kick off the new year, fans heard the first collaboration between Kanye West and Paul McCartney, the beautiful ballad ‘Only One‘ dedicated to Kanye’s late mother, Dr. Donda West. However, according to rapper Ty Dolla $ign there is more Kanye and Paul to come. During his interview will Billboard, Ty revealed that another song has been recorded between Kanye and the legendary Beatle, which also features Ty himself and Rihanna. No exact word on a release date, but stay tuned for more details!
On December 15, 2014, D’Angelo’s nearly 15 year silence was broken. His new album Black Messiah dropped seemingly out of nowhere, garnering overwhelming and instantaneous acclaim. Pitchfork Media focused all their attention on the album, giving it an envied 9.4/10 “Best New Music” rating and plastering D’Angelo mentions all over the sight. They still can’t shut up about it, as goes for most other music publications, which is rare in a digital age where trends and albums come and go without much thought. Black Messiah is without a doubt bound to gain high marks amongst best of lists with the passage of time due to the immediate positive reaction to such a shock release. However, it is imperative to understand where such enormous hype and anticipation for D’Angelo came from. This R&B aficionado’s sophomore release is the genesis of his critical and even commercial obsession.
