Earlier today the lineup was revealed for New York’s 2015 Governors Ball Music Festival. The fest will be located in Randall’s Island Park in New York City and will take place June 5-7. This year’s lineup continues to impress as the festival will feature performances from Drake, The Black Keys, Lana Del Rey (our 2014 Woman of the Year), Deadmau5, Florence and the Machine, St. Vincent, Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, Logic and many more. Spoiler alert, at least as shown in the trailer, Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) gets killed by Olivia Wilde in the upcoming horror film “The Lazarus Effect”. The silver lining though is she comes back from the dead to do it, so technically a black guy doesn’t die first in this horror film… technically. Check out the trailer below. “The Lazarus Effect” comes out February 27th and is from the producer of “The Purge” and “Paranormal Activity”.
In her new interview with Billboard Lana Del Rey revealed a few details about the follow up to her critically acclaimed album Ultraviolence. According to our 2014 Woman of the Year, her next album will be titled Honeymoon and Lana has recorded 9-tracks for the upcoming project, 4 of which the production is “perfect”. Lana told Billboard that the album only needs a “few more songs to tie everything together.”

Check out rapper/singer Kyle (‘Keep It Real’) and his new track with Kehlani, titled ‘Just A Picture’. Speaking to THE FADER, Kyle explained that the song “was inspired by the fear that there will be a ‘selfie class’ in middle school 20 years from now. The day the Coachella lineup drops always makes winter feel even more ‘wintery’, for lack of better words, as the first confirmation of acts gets fans initially hyped for the spring. It had been awhile since we had heard new music from Kanye West and over a year since the release of Kanye’s latest studio album Yeezus. However, to kick off the new year Kanye surprised us all by dropping a new single, one nothing like Yeezus, and the one we had all been waiting for. Last year, rumors circulated that Kanye and The Beatles legendary frontman Paul McCartney were recording together and now we know the reports were true. Kanye’s newly released ballad ‘Only One’ features Sir Paul McCartney, as Kanye sings from the perspective of his late mother, Dr. Donda West, about Kanye and his new wife and daughter. If combining the talents of one of the greatest rappers of all-time and the leader of the most influential band of all-time were not enough in itself, the track as it stands could not be more beautiful.
