The best and brightest of this past week in music, as well as a throwback track! Hopefully you can bump these tracks on your way to work to brighten up your Monday mornings. This week we have new music from Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, G-Eazy, A$AP Rocky and more!

Last year we heard the stories of the secret Kanye West and Paul McCartney track, although much about the collaboration was unknown. Now it is finally here and it was well worth the wait. Fans of Kanye tracks like ‘Hey Mama’ and ‘Roses’ will love this one as ‘Only One’ is a beautiful ballad dedicated to West’s daughter North (Nori) and one of the best songs you may ever hear. ‘Only One’ is told through the perspective of Kanye’s late mother, Dr. Donda West, as she sings through Kanye to his first born. “Tell Nori about me… Tell Nori about me.” Stream the track here, check out our 5-star review of the new song, and purchase it now on iTunes.

Leather Corduroy (Joey Purp and Kami de Chukwu) recruits friend and fellow SAVEMONEY affiliate Chance The Rapper for the lead track of their new project Season. Stream the Mitchell Lemke produced ‘I Told You So’ above.

A$AP Rocky had an unfortunately quiet 2014. The good news is that this hopefully means we will get a bunch of new music from “the pretty motherf*cker” in the new year, and to give fans a preview, this week Rocky ended his 2014 by giving fans the sequel to one of his first big tracks ‘Pretty Flacko’. Stream the Nez & Rio produced sequel above.

Earlier this week, the Bay-Area’s G-Eazy brought out his inner Based God with his track ‘I Might’, featuring P-Lo & K Camp. This one is produced by Cal-A and was also complimented by two other new songs.

Listen to Mr. Muthaf*ckin’ eXquire spit over a track from Pink Floyd’s legendary album The Wall. This one is called ‘One For Sophie’ and watch out for his new mixtape this week!

THROWBACK

One of our Songs of the Week last week was N.E.R.D.’s new song ‘Squeeze Me’, their first new track in 5 years. For this week’s throwback track we have the late night and classic N.E.R.D. hit ‘Lapdance’.
