In 2013, Frank Ocean delivered a memorable performance of his 2012 record, ‘Forrest Gump’. A track which helped Ocean come out to the world as bi-sexual, singing about the love of a man through the perspective of a man, many may have preferred that ‘Ocean’ perform one of his singles from his critically acclaimed album when the whole world was watching, yet performing ‘Forrest Gump’ meant so much more. The visuals for the performance were creative, Ocean’s yellow suit was on point, and most importantly Frank Ocean delivered an emotional performance of one of his most emotional tracks.
