Pyramids
Like many great artists, Frank Ocean doesn’t conform to traditional song structure, and this is especially evidence in his channel ORANGE record ‘Pyramids’. A Cleopatra themed record that totals in at nearly 10-minutes long, ‘Pyramids’ is unofficially split into two parts. While I have tried to pick out which side of the track is better, it’s nearly impossible as Ocean kills it on both halves. Unlike ‘American Wedding’, ‘Pyramids’ is definitely one of Ocean’s singles, and good thing, because promotion of the record led to Ocean’s performance of the track on Saturday Night Live, with none other than John Mayer.
