Beach House – Depression Cherry
One of the more recent releases on this list, Depression Cherry perfectly captures the mood of someone who’s having a hard time adjusting to the Summer to Fall transition. More importantly though, it features the grand ethereal sounds that make the duo who they are. The strange dichotomy about the LP is that it features warm and inviting composition, with cold and downtrodden lyrics. Sounds a little like autumn to me.
