Chicago’s Lollapalooza delivers year after year, and continuing it’s new tradition of kicking off on Thursday, day one of Lolla 2018 went off with a bang, with performances from Travis Scott, Camila Cabello, Jaden Smith, Khalid and many more.
Ahead of the release of his brand new LP, Astroworld, GOOD Music’s Travis Scott put on a wild and energetic headlining set, just a couple years after La Flame was arrested at the festival. Delivering some pop spice to Grant Park, Camila Cabello also put on one of the days best sets. From top to bottom, day one of Lollapalooza had a lotta something for everyone.

New year, new location, new lineup, but the one thing that didn’t change is the amazing experience that Rolling Loud provides to fans in Miami. Now held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, the world’s premiere rap music festival kicked off Day 2 on Saturday afternoon.
Fans in attendance on Saturday were able to enjoy performances from Travis Scott, the Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill, Lil Pump, Fetty Wap and many more, so needless to say the day was lit from the moment gates opened until La Flame shut it down.
Travis Scott and Kanye West have delivered! Taking a break from the controversy that Kanye West has found himself in this week, La Flame shared their new collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, which the two teased on Twitter, just a few days ago.
Titled ‘Watch’, the new track is definitely something you’ll bump in the car this summer. For Kanye’s anticipated verse, he raps about his opioid addiction, Larry David, the Sunken Place and more. From the content, it seems like the track was recently recorded, but either way, we love what we hear.
Listen to ‘Watch’ ft. Kanye West & Lil Uzi Vert below.
We shouldn’t really need to spell out reasons of why you need to attend Rolling Loud this year, the stacked lineup practically sells itself, but we’re going to anyways.
Not only is the rap music festival in Miami arguably the best music festival of the year (for a second straight year), but fans will have opportunities to hear a bunch of exclusive performances for the first time. From La Flame to Postey and more, you can expect a number of artists to make some live debuts at Rolling Loud.
Check out our list of our five reasons you can’t miss Rolling Loud 2018 below.
It’s the best festival lineup of the year

Let’s be real, for the second straight year, Rolling Loud’s Miami festival has the best lineup of all music festivals. Perhaps even the greatest rap festival lineup of all-time, this year’s lineup boasts performances from Future, J. Cole, Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, N.E.R.D., Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Post Malone, Russ and many more. From Friday to Sunday, start to finish, Rolling Loud has the best rappers in the game right now!

Post Malone is celebrating the release of his brand new album, Beerbongs and Bentleys, and fans will get a chance to hear Post perform the album’s tracks live at Rolling Loud this year. Don’t be surprised if Post Malone makes a number of live performance debuts from the new LP in Miami next month.
New music from Travis Scott?

Travis Scott possibly had the best set at Rolling Loud last year, and you should expect him to deliver the same energy for his performance this year. Anything can happen at the night show, even the debut of new music. Travis Scott told fans on Twitter today that this week is the week that fans eat, which likely means new music. Scott and Kanye West hinted at the release of a brand new collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, so perhaps La Flame and Uzi will perform the track at Rolling Loud. Wishful thinking!
The undercard is ridiculously good

It’s not just the headliners that make Rolling Loud 2018 so great! A simply review of the festival poster will show you how deep the lineup really is this year. You shouldn’t only be excited for J. Cole and Travis Scott, you also need to get excited for Smino, Jaden Smith, Juvenile, Bas, Lil Xan, Wifisfuneral and J.I.D. to name a few.
Be one of the first to hear KOD live

J. Cole just released his new record breaking album, KOD, and it’s an instant fan favorite. Cole’s loyal fan base will definitely come in waves for Rolling Loud 2018, and Rolling Loud will be Cole’s first U.S. performance since releasing the album. Therefore it will be your first chance to hear the new LP live and in person. Needless to say, you’ll want to be at Rolling Loud in person as J. Cole shuts thing down on Friday night.
Of Kanye’s 1,000,001 tweets this past week, two especially exciting ones came today as Kanye previewed the release of upcoming tracks with a few of the biggest names in rap.
“(A$AP) Rocky we gotta release our songs ASAP,” Kanye wrote with the pun intended. Yeezy also shared a tweet aimed at Travis Scott, calling for them to “drop the track with me you and Uzi this week”.
While it’s unsure if these tracks will be on Kanye’s upcoming 7-song album (set to release June 1st), we couldn’t be more excited. Let’s hope fans get to eat at some point this week.
With weekend one of Coachella in the rear view window, it’s time to get excited for Miami’s Rolling Loud. With the best festival lineup in the country last year, expectations for Rolling Loud 2018 were very high (no pun intended). Lucky for music fans in Florida and rap fans around the world, Rolling Loud delivered with an epic 2018 lineup that looks to be even better than 2017.
With anticipated performances from J. Cole, Cardi B, Young Thug, Post Malone, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Russ, N.E.R.D and many more, you can’t go wrong with whatever performances you catch over the weekend.
If you’ve been living under a rock, Rolling Loud will take place from May 11-13 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. Fans can visit the festival’s official website for more information!

Returning to Chicago’s Grant Park from August 2nd to the 5th, Lollapalooza is set to deliver another summer of great live music for its Windy City fans. And moments ago the top tier festival revealed its full 2018 lineup, just a day after 4-day passes went on sale.
1. The Return of Travis Scott

After arriving late to the festival grounds for his Lollapalooza performance in 2015, rapper Travis Scott tried to make up for lost time by delivering the wildest festival performance imaginable. Too wild for the taste of some, as Travis Scott was arrested only a few minutes into his set after encouraging his fans to climb over security barricades and storm the stage. It’s common for performances to get cut short by storms, but not of this kind. Although it was Lolla that decided to pull the plug on his 2015 performance, all is forgiven and both parties will try again this August. Needless to say, it will be a performance that you won’t want to miss.
2. Bruno Mars, But No Cardi B
Photo by Dan Garcia/The Early Registration
Lollapalooza will be dripping in finesse this year, as Bruno Mars is set to deliver a headlining Lolla performance that Chicago may talk about for years. The booking was unexpected, but made sense, as there was no Chicago date for Bruno Mars’ summer tour. However Bruno’s tour-mate, Cardi B, was heavily rumored to perform at Lolla this year, so it was a surprise when her name didn’t appear on the lineup poster this morning. Does this all but confirm those pregnancy rumors? We think so! Either way, Bruno will definitely bring some 24K Magic to Grant Park this summer.
3. No Female Headliners
Lana Del Rey headlines Lollapalooza 2016 (Photo by Dan Garcia/The Early Registration)
While fans were instantly blown away by the top to bottom quality of this year’s lineup, many fan noticed that the festival booked no female headliners this year. From Lorde’s rainy performance last year, to Lana Del Rey’s headlining set in 2016 and more, female headliners have historically killed it at the Chicago festival. In fact, a female artist does not appear on the lineup poster until the 4th line.
And while this critique is certainly accurate, that is not to say that Lollapalooza isn’t full of amazing female performers. Bebe Rexha, St. Vincent, CHVRCHES, Dua Lipa, Jessie Reyez, Daya, Kali Uchis and Jessie Ware are just a few of the women artists who we can’t wait to see at Lolla this summer.
4. Camila Cabello!
Photo by Dan Garcia/The Early Registration
Camila Cabello is killing it right now, so we are so excited to see her bless the stage at Lolla this summer. But her booking is perhaps the most surprising, for a number of reasons. Music festivals are normally light when it comes to Top 40 pop performers, leaving fans to catch their performances on tour or perhaps an iHeartRadio event. Not only that, but Camila is already scheduled to perform three times in the Windy City, twice as a supporting act for Taylor Swift’s Chicago stops at Soldier Field and once for her headlining tour. Lolla usually frowns on their artists performing in the city (or within 100 miles) around the summertime, but I guess for Camila Cabello they had to make an exception! Chicago will never be the same.
5. You Can’t Rain on Lil Uzi Vert’s Parade
Photo by Dan Garcia/The Early Registration
Lil Uzi Vert was just at Lollapalooza in 2017, however heavy rain and lighting caused the festival to come to a close early, leaving fans of Lil Uzi Vert, Lorde and more left hanging. So let’s hope the festival gods bless fans with calm conditions when Lil Uzi returns to Lolla this year. Just a few months ago, Lil Uzi gave an awesome performance at the United Center for the WGCI Big Jam, so you can expect the same energy for his return to Chicago.
Rolling Loud has revealed it’s highly anticipated lineup for 2018. And again, the Miami-based rap festival has delivered and then some.
Performing at Rolling Loud this year, at the festival’s new site, the Hard Rock Stadium (home of the Miami Dolphins), will be J. Cole, Travis Scott, Future, N.E.R.D., Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Migos, Post Malone and many many more.
Tickets for Rolling Loud 2018, go on sale February 2nd at 10 AM, so don’t waste anytime because this one is sure to sell out. This year the festival takes place from May 11-13, and is an all ages event.

Miguel and Travis Scott are sky walking on their haters with Miguel’s new track ‘Sky Walker’. Sneaking in at the end of the summer, the addictive collaboration is making its case for one of our favorite tracks of the whole summer.
La Flame and the Wildheart singer make for a great team, and it’s evident in their new collaboration, teaming up again after their 2016 track ‘waves’.
