Last Sunday wrapped up our amazing experience during our first year at Coachella. The weekend was surreal, as music fans saw performances from Drake, Lil B, The Weeknd, Tyler the Creator, Toro y Moi, Action Bronson, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah, Vic Mensa and many more! While we posted a small selection of our favorite photos last weekend, to share our experience with our readers, we will be posting new photo galleries from Coachella EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT MONTH. We saw over 30 great performances this past weekend and we will share our collection of photos of each until we run out!

These are the highlights of this past week in music! Well actually… the past two weeks in music since we missed last week while were out of the office for Coachell! So with two weeks of music, this week’s installment is definitely stacked. Hopefully you can bump these tracks on your way to work to brighten up your Monday mornings, and to stay up-to-date on today’s music.

We were confident that Coachella’s Friday kick off could not be topped. Well it looks like we were wrong. This year The Early Registration teamed up with Pigeons & Planes to catch all the best moments of Coachella 2015, and Saturday’s lineup of shows were even better than Friday. Today fans saw performances from Tyler the Creator, The Weeknd, Run the Jewels, Hozier, Toro y Moi, Father John Misty and more!

Pitchfork Music Festival Announces Lineup, Includes Chance The Rapper, Wilco and More!

Pitchfork has just announced the lineup for its 2015 music festival and not only is it full of huge hometown names, it is full of other great acts as well. Representing the city of Chicago includes artists like Wilco, Chance the Rapper, and Vic Mensa (who was just featured on Kanye’s new song ‘Wolves’). Other acts include Sleater Kinney, Future Islands, Run the Jewels, iLoveMakonnen, A$AP Ferg, Chvrches, The New Pornographers, Panda Bear, Jamie xx, Vince Staples, and more! Check out the full lineup below, Pitchfork Music Festival takes place July 17-19 at Union Park in Chicago.

Sasquatch! Music Festival Lineup Includes Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar and More!

There may be inches of snow outside your house right now, but music festival season is right around the corner and the Sasquatch! Music Festival has just revealed its 2015 lineup! This year’s stacked lineup will included sets from Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, Modest Mouse, Tame Impala, St. Vincent, James Blake, Chromeo, The Decemberists, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Run the Jewels, The War on Drugs, Future Islands and many more. Sasquatch! takes place on May 22nd – 25th (Memorial Day Weekend) in George, Washington at The Gorge. Tickets go on sale Saturday, February 7th through Sasquatch’s website. Check out the lineup poster below!

Bonnaroo 2015 Lineup Revealed: Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau5, Childish Gambino & More

As opposed to just releasing a conventional lineup poster, Bonnaroo switched things up this year by allowing fans to take a part in the lineup announcement. After calling 1-844-ROO-2015, fans could get the name of an artist on this year’s lineup and make the announcement on social media. And who did they announce? Well let’s just say that “The Farm” will be as good as ever in 2015, with scheduled performances by Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Florence + the Machine, Billy Joel, Mumford and Sons, Deadmau5 and many more scheduled to perform. Photos: Run The Jewels Performs at the Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit

Last night Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike) played an amazing set for a packed crowd at the Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit. Rockwell Knuckles, Detroit Che, Dope Head, and ZelooperZ all opened and even Detroit’s own, Danny Brown, made an appearance. We sent one of our photographers, Andrew Baker, there to capture every moment.

Album Review: Run the Jewels 2 | Run the Jewels

The guys who were once the internet nerd’s preference to the Throne has now solidified themselves as one of the most important duo’s out today. With what sounds like their Tarantino-directed sequel to the first project, Run the Jewels 2 serves as a violent, abrasive, energetic record where both Killer Mike and El-P have found the balance between old-school influence and new-school relevance, while ultimately being one of the best rap projects 2014 has seen so far.
