Last night Dirt Nasty and Mickey Avalon brought their Married To The Game tour to The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. Performing for an intimate crowd of a few hundred, there was not a better place to be on a random Thursday night. From the very beginning, Dirt Nasty made sure that his Wisconsin fans would get a unique show that they would not soon forget. Opening with with some of his fan favorites, bringing up a number of girls on stage, Dirt Nasty had a conversation with the crowd throughout the night. His set was full of laughs, twerking, a “white girl who looks like she could be Mexican mostly because she has dark hair”, repping of a “Drink Wisconsinbly” t-shirt and an awesome closing performance of ‘1980’. Before Lil Dicky, you had Dirt Nasty, and last night he proved that there is no one who mixes comedy and rap quite like Simon Rex.
Soon to follow was rapper Mickey Avalon. While Avalon certainly did not bring as many laughs to the table as Dirt, he put on a great set in his own right. Avalon mixed the new and the old throughout his set, and instead of recruiting local talent for his backup dancers like Dirt Nasty, he had a dancer of his own who probably had close to 10 costume changes throughout the night. It wasn’t anything major, but it was good to see some extra production value brought to the show.
The highlight of the night though came as Avalon invited Dirt Nasty back to the stage to perform some of their best collaborations. From some of their new records from their similarly titled Married To The Game project, like ‘Top Down’ and ‘Do It All Over’, to their classics like ‘What Do You Say’, the two played off each other well, making the night end on the highest possible note. As the two closed the night with an awesome performance of ‘My Dick’, complemented by about 20 backup dancers from the crowd, Milwaukee was certainly the place to be last night.
Check out our photos from last nights show below and see if Dirt and Mickey are coming to a city near you.

We were more than excitedlast month when rapper Dirt Nasty (Simon Rex) and Mickey Avalon squashed their beef after the break-up of the Dyslexic Speedreaders, known best for their hilarious record ‘My Dick’. The two put out a very topical track, titled ‘Netflix and Chill’, but no one knew if that would be the last we hear from the two together. Luckily it was not, as Dirt Nasty took to hisInstagram today to announce a huge 28-date tour with Avalon, as well a new free album that’s coming out in just a few days!
Kicking off the “Married to the Game” tour next year on January 13th, and hitting a number of stops throughout the U.S. until the tour concludes in San Antonio, Dirt and Avalon will be making stops in Chicago, Milwaukee, the East Coast, West Coast, and probably a city near you. The return of the Dyslexic Speedreaders is here, and out of nowhere! Over 5 years ago, the ‘My Dick’ rappers had a huge falling out, where the two went from being great friends to friends no more. Before the success of Avalon’s first hit ‘Jane Fonda’, Dirt Nasty (Simon Rex) would hand out Avalon’s CDs to strangers to help the California singer/rapper get discovered. Soon after, fans were treated to hilarious raps like ‘My Dick’ (with Andre Legacy), ‘Friday Night’ and more. Although, after disputes over unpaid loans between the group popped up, a falling out came between Dirt and Avalon.
Thankfully that falling out is now over as the two have teamed up for their very topical new record, ‘Netflix & Chill’. Dirt went on to tell fans:
“Me and Mickey had a falling out a few years back, but we decided to kiss and make up so we can give our fans some sweet new jams. And what better way to get over our differences than a nice mellow evening at home watching netflix and chilling out…..with hot girls of course.”
Listen to ‘Netflix & Chill’ below and let us all hope for a full out new project from the reunited friends.
