From The xx to U2, there are already a ton of amazing tours scheduled for 2017. But needless to say, there are still a ton of potential tours for the new year, that we are patiently awaiting their announcement. While we are certainly speculating that a number of these artists will go on tour in 2017, we have a hunch that a number of our predictions will come true.

Bonnaroo announced its huge lineup for 2017 earlier this morning, and it’s just as big as ever. Joining headliners U2, which was announced days ago, will be The Weeknd, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chance The Rapper. And as always the talented is spread out from top to bottom, as Major Lazer, Lorde, The xx, Travis Scott, Cage The Elephant and many more will also perform at the Manchester, TN festival.
This year Bonnaroo will return on June 8th to the 11th, and you can expect The Farm to deliver as it always has in the past. Probably the most unique of the top tier music festivals, with so much to do (even beyond just the music), Bonnaroo should be on everyone’s bucket list.

In 2014 our Editor-in-Chief and lead photographer Dan Garcia teamed up with Pigeons & Planes to cover Lollapalooza, live at Chicago’s Grant Park. Returning to the festival the next year, Garcia got to witness some of the best moments from the premiere festival in the past couple years. Returning to Grant Park this year, Lollapalooza is expanding the festival to include a fourth date for its 25th Anniversary, and many expect festival organizers to release its best lineup yet by the end of the month. So to celebrate Lolla’s 25th Anniversary and built up anticipation until it’s forthcoming lineup is announced, we are sharing some of our favorite moments and photos from Lollapalooza since our publication’s inception.
UK garage band Disclosure released the music video for their latest single, ‘Magnets’, which features ‘Royals’ singer-songwriter Lorde. The aesthetic for the video is fire. And for some behind the scenes info, Lorde took to Tumblrto give everyone a better idea on what the video is about. Disclosure’s new album, Caracal is in stores now everywhere.

Soon after one of the biggest snubs of the 57th Annual Grammy Nominations, as Lana Del Rey’s album Ultraviolence received no nominations, Lana today received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture for her track ‘Big Eyes’ used in the Tim Burton film of the same name. Also receiving nominations in the category include John Legend, Patti Smith, Greg Kurstin, and Lorde for her ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ track used in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. Lorde has had a big month in November. First the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (curated by Lorde herself) and now to close the month, she will appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, November 25th. Lorde will be performing her new single ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ and also speaking as a guest with Fallon.
Listen to Stromae’s collaboration on the new Hunger Games soundtrack. This one is titled ‘Meltown’, and features the talented Lorde (who curated the soundtrack) as well as HAIM, Pusha-T and Q-Tip. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is available next week.
