Lil Wayne is very sorry for the wait yet again, as he has given fans another mixtape in anticipation of a forthcoming and delayed album. We don’t know when Tha Carter V is coming, as it was originally scheduled for a 2014 release, but at least we have Sorry 4 The Wait 2 to tide us over. S4TW2 features Weezy rapping over songs like ‘Coco’ and ‘You Guessed It’ and has features from Drake, Christina Millian, 2 Chainz and more. Download the full tape here.

Frank will certainly be in good company this year as our list also included the likes of Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Adele and more, who are all expected to release new albums in 2015.
Rap fans know producer Emile Haynie from his work with Kanye, Kid Cudi and Eminem but many know him for his contributions on Lana Del Rey’s debut album Born To Die, producing some of its best tracks like ‘Blue Jeans’, ‘Born To Die’, ‘Off to the Races’ and more. Now he is putting out his debut solo album, We Fall (scheduled for a February 24th release), and is having artists return favors to help contribute to the album. Today we have We Fall‘s third track, titled “Wait For Life” which is a beautiful track where Emile again teams up with the lovely Lana Del Rey. Stream the track below and check out the full tracklist for We Fall, which will feature Lykee Li, Randy Newman, Rufus Wainwright and more.

In anticipation of his upcoming Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape, which is being released due to a publicized feud between Wayne and his Cash Money label over the release and direction of his next album (Tha Carter V), Weezy has released a new video and song teaser for ‘I’m So Sorry’. At the close of the video is the release date for S4TW 2, now scheduled for Tuesday, January 20th. Check out the video and the mixtape’s ‘Sh!t Remix’ track below.
New music from Frank Ocean is a rarity since his debut album channel ORANGE, but when he does bless fans with new tracks, he takes to his Tumblrand virtually out of nowhere (as he did in November of 2014 with his track ‘Memrise‘). Tonight was no exception as Frank Ocean surprised everyone with new music, this time a beautiful cover of Aaliyah’s ‘At Your Best’. This one showcases Frank’s range more than anything we have heard from him before. Let’s hope that this leads to a lot more from Frank, maybe his collaboration with Lil B, as his sophomore album (release date TBD) is one of the most anticipated projects of 2015 (assuming it comes out this year). Stream ‘At Your Best (You Are Love)’ below.
Watch as the ‘No Flex Zone’ and ‘No Type’ rap duo Rae Sremmurd makes an appearance on “Highly Questionable” with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones on ESPN2. Peep the very entertaining video below as Rae Sremmurd answers questions about turning up, brotherly fights, and even Pat Sajak.
Listen to Young Thug’s new David “Dun Deal” Cunningham produced track ‘Friend of Scotty’. Dun Deal, who has worked with Migos (‘Hannah Montana’) and Young Thug in the past, definitely gave Thugger another hit beat on this one. The rhymes are a little silly at times throughout the track, “no homo but my blunt looks like a d*ck”, but the song is definitely worth checking out. Stream it now, below.
