Drake goes 0 to 100 real quick, but it took him a minute to finally make a track like ‘100’ with The Game. It was about time that Drizzy and the former G-Unit rapper team up again since The Game’s 2011 LP, The R.E.D. Album ,with ‘Good Girls Go Bad’. Both rappers deliver on this one (with Drake providing the hook), and the soulful sample is amazing!
Yesterday kicked off the 48th Anniversary of Milwaukee’sSummerfest, the World’s Largest Music Festival. Unlike many other premiere music festivals, Summerfest (which runs until July 5th) brings an especially diverse list of performers to Milwaukee’s lakefront every year, creating for a festival where you can see Kanye West (who performed in 2011) share the same stage as Peter Gabriel and Kid Rock. So to get things started for The Early Registration’s first year at Summerfest, we had to catch a wide variety of acts on day one!
Check out our Summerfest Day 1 photos below, of Country music’s Florida Georgia Line, English indie rock band Bastille and pop music’s Magic!.
This new track from French Montana bangs and it is definitely not short in terms of its star power. With Kanye West (and The Mekanics) handling the trap production, and Rick Ross and Lil Wayne contributing to French’s track as well, ‘Lose It’ a can’t miss record. The marquee alone is reason enough to check this one out.
Less than a week ago G.O.O.D. Music‘s Big Sean released his powerful video for his Dark Sky Paradise record ‘One Man Can Change The World’. Today we have another new video, this time for the LP’s other Kanye West collaboration, ‘All Your Fault’. The Mark Mayer direction and the dark visuals goes well with the track, so definitely don’t sleep on this one!
Watch the official music video for ‘All Your Fault’ below.

London O’Connor isn’t the average rapper. Continuing to push the boundaries of the perception of Hip-Hop’s sound, along with buddies Kevin Abstract andBROCKHAMPTON, London focuses the album’s sound towards warm palettes, creating a comforting soundscape. He produced the album entirely on his own and continues to prove the possibilities are endless for a 2015 “bedroom”, artist as Kevin puts it.
Vince Staples’ debut album, Summertime ’06, officially drops in a week (June 30th) but you can check out the whole album now on NPR First Listen. Among many, one of our favorite tracks off the album is ‘Norf Norf’, which touches on the Long Beach gangbanging themes that are consistent throughout the entire LP, as well as Vince’s previous project Hell Can Wait.
Stream ‘Norf Norf’ below and pre-order Summertime ’06 now on iTunes.
