Kari Faux is most exciting emerging female rapper right now, and except for a short list of others, it isn’t even close. The Childish Gambino co-signed artist and Little Rock native has been on everyone’s radar ever since her ‘No Small Talk’ record, which Childish Gambino later remixed for his Stone Mountain mixtape. Her relationship with Donald Glover’s (Gambino) crew eventually led to a deal with “Wolf & Rothstein”, and today we have Faux’s new music video for ‘This Right Here’. Faux’s new record is off her forthcoming album, Lost En Los Angeles, which releases next month on April 8th, 2016.

If you are familiar with Childish Gambino’s record ‘No Small Talk’ (or it’s original version ‘Gahdamn’), then you know Kari Faux has bars. While she is steadily climbing up the ranks of female rappers that you need to know, the Donald Glover co-signee has now dropped her new music video, for her track ‘Supplier’. In a message to fans, Faux wrote “If you’re (watching this video), you’re probably a really cool person. I appreciate you for watching my videos and listening to my music. I hope you enjoy this video and continue to follow me on this journey.”
This month we wrapped up our amazing experience during our first year at Bonnaroo. The weekend at The Farm was amazing, as music fans saw performances from Raury, Bleachers, Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons, Alabama Shakes, Florence + the Machine, and many more! Who would have guessed that Childish Gambino affiliate, rapper Kari Faux could sing? You may best know her from Gambino’s STN MTN / Kauai track ‘No Small Talk’ (a remix of Faux’s ‘Gahdamn’ record) but soon she may be known for her singing as well. Earlier today on Twitter, Faux release a demo version of a track titled ‘eden’, which showcases her singing abilities. According to Kari though, she will only keep the track up for 24 hours, so check it out while you still can.
