Miami’s Rolling Loud music festival, which delivered arguably the best rap lineup in the history of music festivals this past year, is potentially adding a second location. Foreshadowed by the festival’s Instagram post, like Kevin Durant, Rolling Loud will be taking its talents to the Bay, adding a new location in San Francisco, CA.
And what better way to make the announcement, than with some bling. As the “soon” caption is accompanied with a Rolling Loud chain, similar to the Golden State Warrior‘s Golden Gate Bridge logo. Don’t worry though, Florida, there is no reason to believe that Rolling Loud won’t be returning to Miami in 2018.
UPDATE: Since publishing this article, Rolling Loud’s Kel Li RT’ed our original article, which tells us that our speculation is all but confirmed.
Justin Bieber’s Purpose Tour just got that much better, as the ‘What Do You Mean?’ singer added ATL rap trio, the Migos, and Chicago’s Vic Mensa to his big summer stadium tour.

Last night, OneRepublic brought the 2017 Honda Civic Tour to the Ravinia Music Festival in Highland Park, IL. With support from British singer/songwriter, James Arthur, and an energetic set from Indie pop’s Fitz and The Tantrums, from the pavilion to the picnics, everyone left with their money’s worth.
Up first for the night was ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ singer, James Arthur. With stellar performances of ‘Sober’, ‘Impossible’, his new single ‘Can I Be Him’ and more, Arthur showcased his voice and songwriting throughout his set. While joking about the crowd size, as the sold-out crowd continued to find their seats, Arthur had fun with his audience, before blowing us all away with his hit single ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’. If you’re a fan of Ed Sheeran, you’ll definitely want to give James Arthur a listen.
Next up, the always fun, Fitz and The Tantrums greeted the Chicago-area crowd. Reminding the Windy City that they have been doing shows in Chicago since “Snowmageddon 2011”, the Michael Fitzpatrick led band performed a catalog of their biggest tracks that have been recorded and charted in that time. Highlights of their set included their performances of ‘Out Of My League’, ‘MoneyGrabber’, ‘Hands Clap’ and ‘Roll Up’. Fitz also treated fans with a performance of their next single, ‘Fool’, a ode to all the Mamas and Mamas Boys out there.
However what stole the show was the “real Fitz and The Tantrums”, as Fitzpatrick described them. Joining the stage for the last song, ‘The Walker’, the band’s children danced the night away, as they were doing side-stage throughout the entire set. The children were as adorable as Fitz and The Tantrums are talented, and it definitely was the cherry on top of a great set.
Last but certainly not least, it was time for OneRepublic to close out the memorable night. And right off the bat, the Colorado Springs natives reminded us of their many hits from the past decade and change. With performances of ‘Stop and Stare’, ‘Good Life’, ‘Secrets’, ‘Counting Stars’, ‘Apologize’ and many more, OneRepublic have had a more than successful career, and two sold-out nights at The Ravinia is further evidence of that.
From their entertaining covers, of Ed Sheeran’s ‘Happier, Beyonce’s ‘Halo’ and Adele’s ‘Rumor Has It’, to their breathtaking encore performances of ‘Counting Stars’ and ‘Love Runs Out’, OneRepublic’s set had fans singing along from start to finish. Picking out highlights from the performance is a challenging task, but Ryan Tedder coming into the crowd in only the second song definitely stood out as a favorite moment for many in the audience. The band showed a lot of humility as well, wondering how many fans would show up for a tour after their roughly 2-year hiatus:
“We were nervous about doing this tour. We weren’t sure who was going to show up, and we’re able to do two nights here because of you.” – OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder
But as far as Chicago and Highland Park are concerned at least, OneRepublic’s Illinois fans are equally happy that the band delivered back-to-back memorable nights to The Ravinia crowd.

We are just weeks away (June 28) from the release of Vic Mensa’s highly anticipated debut album. Titled The Autobiography, Mensa’s forthcoming LP will be Mensa’s most personal project to date.
And in anticipation of the album, Mensa shared The Autobiography‘s tracklist with fans last night. Coming in at 15-tracks, and with features from Weezer, The-Dream, Pusha T, Pharrell, Chief Keef and more, the album has the potential to be a classic and one of the best albums of the summer.
Selena Gomez has our attention with her steamy new single, ‘Fetish’, ft. Gucci Mane.
No, she isn’t singing about feet or whips, rather the ‘Can’t Keep My Hands To Myself’ singer’s sexy new track is an addictive single, that follows Fifth Harmony and Rae Sremmurd by recruiting another great verse from Gucci.
Selena’s single ‘Bad Liar’ is still getting a ton of love on pop radio, but she may see some competition with herself because ‘Fetish’ is already getting a lot of buzz, only hours after its release.
OVO Sound‘s Majid Jordan have released their newest visuals. Directed by Adiran Martinez, Majid Jordan’s new music video is for their PARTYNEXTDOOR-assisted track, ‘One I Want’.

M&M’S delivered a great night of music and chocolates to the Chop Shop last night, as part of their M&M’S Spotlight series. Following their New York concert with DNCE at the Brooklyn Bowl, the first of the series, this time M&M’S invited Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen to the Windy City to give her fans a unique concert experience that they would not soon forgot.
With mounds of every type of M&M’S you could dream of, a photo booth to capture the night with friends, virtual reality experiences and of course a free concert from the ‘Call Me Maybe’ singer, the pop-up concert was a big success.
Although Carly Rae wasn’t scheduled to perform until 8PM, fans got to share a very special moment earlier in the evening as M&M’S announced a “raffle” for a free VIP upgrade. Unbeknownst to the winner and the audience, this contest was staged from the beginning. Soon after the winner went on stage to claim his prize, his boyfriend joined him on stage, grabbed the microphone and got on one knee to share his feelings in front of the sold-out crowd. The fan told his boyfriend that “sometimes somebody else can explain how you really feel, better than you can”, right before he quoted Jepsen’s hit single, ‘I Really Like You’, and proposed to his boyfriend. The two sealed their engagement with a hug and a kiss as the audience applauded for the happy couple.

Moments later, it was time for Carly Rae Jepsen to step on stage. Opening with her 2008 track, ‘Runaway With Me’, Jepsen kicked off her set on a high note, and then took time to thank M&M’S and show love for the city of Chicago. Jepsen followed with a variety of tracks from her debut LP, her 2012 album Kiss, and of course a number of records from her latest album, Emotion. And although the entire audience was full of Jepsen’s biggest fans, who sang every word and earned their spots by waiting in line for several hours before the doors opened, the highlight of Jepsen’s set came at the end.
Performing her hit singles ‘Call Me Maybe’ (which Jepsen dedicated to the newly engaged couple) and ‘I Really Like You’, to cap a wonderful night as colorful balloons fell from the sky, Jepsen’s great performance left her fans begging for one more song. Although a setlist we uncovered before the performance didn’t call for a scheduled encore, Carly Rae and her band heard the chants from backstage and blessed her fans with a true impromptu encore performance. The song that Jepsen settled on backstage? Her Owl City collaboration, ‘Good Time’, which couldn’t have been any more fitting for how the night went.
Check out our photos and the setlist from M&M’s Spotlight with Carly Rae Jepsen below.
Usually a job opening doesn’t qualify as music news. However, when that job comes with the potential of working with Kanye West, that changes things.
Adidas recently posted an opening for a Design Director position in Portland, for Kanye West’s Yeezy line. According to adidas, the company is looking for someone to “develop and direct industry leading creative solutions for concepts and categories, to create a highly relevant, desirable and clear adidas brand image, from sell in to sellout.”
While this role certainly doesn’t call for someone to be Kanye’s everyday right hand man when it comes to his Yeezy line, it’s certainly a one-of-a-kind opportunity. If you’re a creative and interested in the position, you can apply for the position here.
To complement his forthcoming tour with Travis Scott and D.R.A.M., Kendrick Lamar will welcome fans to join the tour for a number of pop-up shops throughout the country.
