To many fans, Rolling Loud came out of nowhere. Although the festival has been in the Miami area for the past few years, it saw a surge in attention after organizers released its lineup in 2017. Instantly fans called it the greatest rap lineup of all time, and they weren’t wrong… until this year that is.

Another year in the books and another epic Rolling Loud in Miami. With a lineup that boasted performances from J. Cole, Travis Scott, Future, Post Malone, Lil Yachty, Migos and 21 Savage (to name a few), Rolling Loud somehow delivered a greater weekend than it did last year.

If you were there, you know why it was so great. But if you weren’t we will help you realize why you totally missed out on an amazing weekend.

Check out our 10 reasons why you shouldn’t have missed Rolling Loud 2018.

Pharrell Invites “Waffle House Hero” on Stage During N.E.R.D’s Rolling Loud Performance

Pharrell brought out the best surprise guest that Rolling Loud could ask for last night, and it’s not the type of person you’d expect. Rather than bring out another rapper, Pharrell Williams went a few steps further for N.E.R.D’s set at Rolling Loud in Miami.

After talking about the state of our country and all the tragedy around us, Pharrell invited the “Waffle House Hero”, James Shaw Jr., to join him on stage. Williams commended him for his bravery and public service, after Shaw not only disarmed a gunman at a Waffle House this past month but also raised money for the victim’s funeral costs.

Rolling Loud was witness to a true hero and a rap legend on Friday night.

Just hours before her opening night performance for the Reputation Stadium Tour in Phoenix, Taylor Swift received a very special guest from an old friend.

Talking to fans on Instagram, Taylor Swift shared a video of a note and a literal olive branch, sent by none other than Katy Perry. After a highly publicized feud, and a few diss tracks back and forth, it seems like Swift and Perry have finally mended the fence. Let’s just hope no one takes an axe to it!

With a huge tour ahead of her, it’s great that Taylor and Katy were able to make up.

Photos: Modest Mouse Brings Their Fall Tour to the Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee

Indie rockers Modest Mouse brought their 2018 tour to a sold-out crowd at Milwaukee’s historic Eagles Ballroom Saturday night. Returning to Wisconsin after a memorable performance at Madison’s Breese Stevens Field last fall, the Issac Brock-Led band put on a 2+ hour performance that the city won’t forget.

While the Washington natives haven’t released an album since 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves, Modest Mouse can still fill venues across the country, due to their loyal fan base and impressive catalog of projects.

With a unique set-list for every performance and Brock’s entertaining banter between tracks, what better way could Milwaukee spend their Cinco de Mayo?

Last night brought no surprises in the best way possible. Modest Mouse kept fans engaged while they performed a random assortment of singles and B-sides, ranging from their 1996 debut, This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About to their newest LP and their critically acclaimed Good News for People Who Love Bad News.

The night’s good news for people who love bad good news? Modest Mouse delivered!

The set even included two encores, after fans spend nearly a half hour cheering for Modest Mouse to return to the stage. Their persistence was rewarded as the band’s second encore brought the band’s biggest hit to date, ‘Float On’, a track which the band often leaves off its setlist.

Check out our photos from last night’s performance below, and get tickets for the remaining tour dates here.

Travis Scott and Kanye West have delivered! Taking a break from the controversy that Kanye West has found himself in this week, La Flame shared their new collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert, which the two teased on Twitter, just a few days ago.

Titled ‘Watch’, the new track is definitely something you’ll bump in the car this summer. For Kanye’s anticipated verse, he raps about his opioid addiction, Larry David, the Sunken Place and more. From the content, it seems like the track was recently recorded, but either way, we love what we hear.

Listen to ‘Watch’ ft. Kanye West & Lil Uzi Vert below.
