Remember when Lil Uzi Vert broke the internet last year after jumping from the soundboard rafters, 20-feet into the crowd below him? We surely do!

Lil Uzi Vert from that moment found his place in the Rolling Loud Hall of Fame, so of course he had to return to Miami to try to match the energy he brought to his epic 2017 set. And of course, he did just that, putting on one of the best performances of the entire weekend. Oh, and he jumped into the crowd yet again!

So many great artists blessed the Rolling Loud stage in 2017, and since there are only so many top notch rappers in the game right now, festival organizers of course had to invite some Rolling Loud alum to perform in 2018.

After memorable performances last year, artists like Future, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Lil Yachty and more returned to give the fans an encore performance at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Cole, in true J. Cole fashion, did another last minute surprise roll out of his new album. Titled, KOD, the LP broke streaming records and it’s praised by fans everywhere.

Other than a couple other performances, fan’s first opportunity to hear the album live was at Rolling Loud 2018. As a result, J. Cole put on arguably the greatest set of the performance. J. Cole kills it every time, so we shouldn’t be surprised.

After Cardi B was forced to cancel her Rolling Loud appearance, many fans speculated whether or not the festival would replace Bardi with another rapper.

When the festival announced that a surprise guest would appear on Saturday night, fans immediately wondered who it would be. Drake? XXXTentacion? Nicki Minaj? Who could it be?

That question was finally answered on Saturday night when DJ Khaled introduced Meek Mill as the surprise guest. Performing for the first time since being released from prison, Meek killed it!

10. It’s the best rap festival lineup of all-time

While (at the time) 2017’s Rolling Loud was the greatest rap festival of all-time, the Miami festival somehow was able to outdo itself in 2018. Top to bottom the line-up was stacked.

From headliners like J. Cole, Future and Travis Scott, to the undercard with Jaden Smith, Lil Pump, 21 Savage, Nav, Russ, Tory Lanez and Lil Yachty, practically everyone was at Rolling Loud this year.

Quite simply, with a lineup that legendary, if you didn’t come to Rolling Loud this year, you missed out on an epic weekend!
