Kendrick Lamar is such a superstar in rap right now that he should be selling out arenas on a headlining tour. However such a tour just didn’t seem right for the To Pimp a Butterfly rapper and his acclaimed and politically charged 2015 album, so in support of his latest LP, Kendrick announced his small 8-date tour of intimate venue performances, titled Kunta’s Groove Sessions. The TDE rapper was joined by labelmate Jay Rock, and if hearing the crowd chant “We gon’ be alright” doesn’t give you chills, then you don’t appreciate good music.
