9. Modest Mouse – Strangers To Ourselves

Modest Mouse has been making music ever since 1993, and over twenty years later the indie rock group proved that they can still make quality albums, with their Strangers to Ourselves LP. This album is their first since 2007 and their sixth in total, and it shines through its standout tracks like ‘Pistol (A. Cunanan, Miami, FL. 1996)’ and its lead single ‘Lampshades on Fire.’ While this certainly isn’t the groups best album to date, Modest Mouse has proved that their comeback could be a successful one. Now that the rust has been cleared since 2007, we can only hope that the group continues to make music in the upcoming years (in fact their seventh studio album is expected in 2016).
