Album Review: Dark Sky Paradise | Big Sean

BY VIKASH DASS

It’s fair to say Big Sean has been feeling some type of way lately. Glancing over the past couple years, one could pick out that his last album, Hall of Fame, was ironically average and commercially poor, and on top of it all, he endured a very public and bitter split with his ex-fiancee and Glee star, Naya Rivera. Lately though, not only has Sean rebounded with another tabloid-attracting lover in songstress Ariana Grande, he has signed a new management deal with music-juggernaut Roc Nation, but more importantly, he has been killing every feature or single released from him in the past few months. With this overflow of amazing music, not only is he making up for lost time and turning heads in the process, but he has managed to craft his best studio album to date in his latest effort, Dark Sky Paradise.

Lil Wayne Calls Out Cash Money & Birdman for Carter 5 Delays

BY MATT MONROE

On Twitter, Lil Wayne released a series of tweets discussing why his new album, Tha Carter V , has been long delayed. He stated that Cash Money (Wayne’s label) and it’s boss, Birdman refuse to release the album.

It’s been known that there have been problems in the YMCMB camp with Tyga’s recent comments, but not to this extent with one of the label’s biggest artists calling them out. Additionally, Pusha T, who beefed with Wayne briefly in 2012, replied to Wayne’s comments on Twitter.

So, do you think Wayne’s comments are legit or do you think he’s just trying to promote his album? Keep checking the website and find out.

New Music: Pusha T – “Lunch Money” (prod. by Kanye West)

This one kinda came out of left field. No tweets from Pusha, no promo, just appeared on the interwebs. This track is produced by Kanye and is fire flames from King Push nonetheless. And it isn’t over the greatest beat either, similar to his track ‘Numbers On The Boards’. Hopefully this means we are getting his solo sophomore effort sooner rather than later. Enjoy the track from the G.O.O.D. Music artist below.
