Despite vowing never to create an Instagram account, Kanye West has finally joined the party by creating account on the popular social media app. And what did Kanye choose for his very first post, on his account which has already been verified? A scene from the popular 1990 film, “Total Recall”, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

What is the significant of this scene? Does Kanye just love Mexico City? Is he a huge Arnold fan? Is he dropping hints about his next album? We don’t know, but let’s just be excited that Ye finally jumped on the Instagram bandwagon.

Kid Cudi Sends Shots at Kanye West and Drake on Twitter

Trigger fingers turned to Twitter fingers earlier today as former GOOD Music rapper Kid Cudi has sent shots at his rap peers, Drake and his former labelhead, Kanye West. Although the relationship between Kanye and Cudi has been rocky ever since Cudi left GOOD, it seemed that all was well again when Cudi appeared on Kanye’s The Life of Pablo for his track, ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’.

But apparently not, as earlier today Cudi tweeted “the days of the fuckery are over”, continuing “the fake ones wont be lasting too much longer.” Kid Cudi also added, “everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them.” While many speculated who Cudi was talking about, he later put any speculation to rest when he called out Kanye and Drake specifically.

“My tweets apply to who they apply. (Kan)Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me.”

This isn’t the first time Cudi has called out Kanye, which Ye has yet to ever respond to publicly. While the two always seem to make up and hop back in the studio, it will be interesting to see if that happens again following Cudi’s most recent tweets.

Blink-182

Moments ago, Blink-182 stepped off stage in front of a sold-out crowd at Chicago’s Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL. Performing in support of their new 2016 LP, California, tonight’s show was already the 31st date on their massive 40+ date North American tour. And Blink didn’t come alone either, joining the Californians tonight were Florida natives A Day to Remember and Stillwater, Oklahoma’s All-American Rejects. With a stellar lineup of rock bands and a sold-out crowd, the night was set up to be one to remember from the very beginning.

Performing first, after a DJ set from DJ Spider to get the crowd warmed up, the All-American Rejects blessed the Chicago crowd. A household name in alternative rock, ever since the success of their 2003 self-titled debut, the Tyson Ritter-led band had more than enough hits to choose from tonight. Highlights of their set included performances of their hits, like ‘Dirty Little Secret’ and ‘It Ends Tonight’ as well as their new 2016 single, ‘DGAF’. And we DGAF if anyone tells you otherwise, the All-American Rejects rocked out in Tinley Park tonight.

Next up were Bad Vibrations rockers, A Day to Remember, set to give a night to remember to the Windy City. Although the guys came out with high amounts of energy from the very beginning, there is no doubt that the last half of their performance tonight was a stand out moment of the entire night, with memorable performances of ‘Paranoia’, ‘If It Means a Lot to You’ and their closing performance of ‘The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle’. To say the ATDR bomb exploded with energy tonight would be more than an understatement.

After about a half hour for the stage crew to set up for the night’s headlining performance, it was time for the men of the night to hit the stage. Opening with their 2003 record, ‘Feeling This’, off their 5th and self-titled LP, their set instantly got off to the best start possible. Next, Blink (which now consists of founders Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, as well as Matt Skiba) performed their 1999 mega hit track, ‘What’s My Age Again?’, followed by the hilarious and entertaining ‘Family Reunion’, full of a half-minute of swearing (exclusively), begging the question, “what is their age again?”

Throughout the night, Blink-182 performed a vast selection of records from their 20+ year career and their 7 albums, including a number of songs from their newest LP, California. Highlights of Blink-182’s 24-track set, include performances from their classic 2001 LP, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, and their memorable encore which consisted of a can’t miss performance of ‘All The Small Things’. Rock music and nostalgia where at an all-time high tonight, and Blink reminded fans of their huge career of hits, their lovable sense of humor, and most importantly that they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. We can’t speak to when their next LP or tour will come, but Blink-182 can still rock.

Check out our photos from tonight’s performance below and check out the tour’s remaining dates here.

It feels like it’s been forever since rapper Bobby Shmurda’s breakout viral hit record, ‘Hot N*gga’, a track that Shmurda both owe’s his career to but which also may indirectly cost the New York-native seven years of his life. In order to avoid a trial, Shmurda and co-defendants, Chad Marshall and Nicholas McCoy, have accepted a plea deal from prosecution today.

Under the deal, Shmurda has pled guilty to 4th-degree conspiracy and 2nd-degree criminal weapons possession, and will serve a 7 year sentence. Since Bobby will get credit for time served, another 5 years and change will remain on his sentence. A lot of controversy surrounds Shmurda’s arrest, and it’s hard for many to help but wonder if Shmurda was targeted due to the lyrics of his music.

Bump some ‘Hot N*gga’ until they free Bobby Shmurda below.

After a ton of anticipation and hype, it appears like fans will finally see the release of Cruel Winter, the GOOD Music collaborative album and follow up to 2012’s Cruel Summer. According to Travis Scott, who spoke with Hot 97 this morning, Cruel Winter will likely drop in February of 2017.

“It’s coming very soon. I’m saying February.”

Although it certainly isn’t a hard release date, if we get Cruel Winter anytime in 2017, we will be more than excited, since Cruel Summer brought bangers like ‘Mercy’, ‘Clique’, ‘Don’t Like’ and more. Scott said that a lot of songs are finished for the collaborative LP, but only a handful of songs have been picked to make the cut. La Flame also added that the project is very youthful, so expect a lot of the future on this one (no Desiigner pun intended).

Watch Travis speak on Cruel Winter below.
