A great rapper needs to have their pop culture references on point. Whether it’s Childish Gambino referencing the classic ’90s cartoon Rugrats, or it’s Drake giving a shout out to the mobile phone application Uber, a solid reference can make or break a verse. And while there are a lot of great bars out there, a lot of rappers are sleeping on some epic pop culture real estate. So that’s why we compiled our own list of 15 pop culture references that your favorite rapper is sleeping on.

Check out our list at the link below!

Last night Jason Derulo, with special guest Jasmine V, performed for the second night of the Wisconsin State Fair in Milwaukee, WI. Greeting the crowd, Jasmine V introduced herself to Milwaukee with a 8-song setlist, full of some of her best records, as well as a couple great covers. Jasmine opened up with her track ‘One Night’, which features Chicago’s Jeremih. “Stay with me tonight, Baby stick around and we can get it right,” Jasmine sings in her single that was released earlier this year. Later in her set, Jasmine V showcased her voice with a stripped acapella cover of Sam Smith’s hit single ‘Stay With Me’. Highlights of her set, which was complemented by back-up dancers and her brother/DJ Jream, included her performances of ‘Dear John’, ‘Work’ and her track with Kendrick Lamar, ‘That’s Me Right There.’ Jasmine V certainly warmed up the crowd for the night’s headlining performance.
