This past weekend, Lana Del Rey surprised fans with her return, as the ‘Video Games’ singer released her first single in over a year, with ‘Love’. And to accompany the new track today, Lana Del Rey has released a new music video, with a classic Lana Del Rey vintage feel.

Speaking on her new music, Lana told fans in a statement, “I made my first four albums for me, but this (next) one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed.” And while we don’t expect Lana to reinvent her sound, one thing specifically that an LP for the fans means is, “exciting guest featured artists”, which will be revealed at a later date.

While Lana has contributed vocals to artists like The Weeknd and The Neighbourhood in the past, her albums have never boasted a guest feature, making the forthcoming features especially exciting.

Lana Del Rey

Lollapalooza just wrapped up its huge 25th Anniversary this past weekend. With huge headlining performances from Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Ellie Goulding and more, perhaps our favorite performance from the extended weekend was Lana Del Rey’s headlining set on the festival’s opening night. Fans began to wait in line for the show as early as 8PM of the night before, with hundreds sprinting to the Bud Light stage as the festival gates opened. After some entertaining performances from Frances, Melanie Martinez, City and Colour and The 1975, Lana’s biggest fans and the thousands that joined in throughout the night, got to see the moment they had been waiting for.

Highlights of her set included her performances of ‘Born To Die’, ‘Carmen’ and her numerous visits into the pit to greet fans and take selfies. And following her memorable closing performance of ‘Off To The Races’, Lana Del Rey said goodbye to the Chicago crowd… Until next time.

Check out our Lollapalooza Photo Series of 2016, of Lana Del Rey’s memorable performance.

Guns N’ Roses is back in 2016, and not only did they have their huge performance at Coachella last night but the legendary rockers recently announced their huge summer reunion tour. Hitting stops in Chicago, Phili, California, Washington D.C. and more, Guns N’ Roses’ forthcoming tour will surely be one of the can’t miss tours of the summer.

And perhaps their reunion tour just got even better as Lana Del Rey may have just hinted that she is joining the guys for their upcoming stadium tour. Minutes ago Lana posted a selfie on Instagram, which otherwise wouldn’t be newsworthy, except for the fact that Lana is seen rocking a “Lana Del Rey x Guns N’ Roses 2016 Tour” t-shirt. Is Lana joining Guns N’ Roses huge summer tour as a supporting act?

Stay tuned for more information and let’s only hope that Lana will be joining Guns N’ Roses this summer! Meanwhile you can check out Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming tour dates here.

Watch Lana Del Rey’s New Music Video for “Freak” with Father John Misty

Last night Lana Del Rey premiered her new music video at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and while most music videos don’t warrant their own release event, Lana’s videos aren’t “most music videos”. This time releasing visuals for her 2015 track, ‘Freak’, from her Honeymoon album, Lana Del Rey’s new music video co-stars Lana’s close friend and rocker, Father John Misty, and everything you wouldn’t expect and everything you would expect from Lana all at the same time.

The new music video certainly shares images and a general feel from some of Lana’s previous vintage-themed videos, but this new one totals over 10-minutes long. And while we won’t try to give away too much, the last half of the video is full of a weird (in the best way possible) underwater piano-laced slow-motion sequence of Lana swimming. You definitely need to check it out for yourself.
