After Soundcloud’s algorithm selected relatively unknown rapper Rory Fresco’s track ‘Low Key’ to be played after Kanye West’s track ‘Real Friends’, Fresco’s stream count on the track went from 5,000 to 150,000 in less than a day’s time. From then on, the calls started coming in and the emerging MC was starting to get the attention he had long desired.

And after the release of his mixtape Mad World, Fresco has revisited his viral track, this time with a new version assisted by Bay Area rapper, G-Eazy. Fresco won’t need the help of Kanye for this one, as Rory Fresco and G-Eazy make for a great team on the single.

Earlier this week, the lovely and talented Alessia Cara teased a remix to her second single ‘Wild Things’, from her debut album Know-It-All. Recruiting the talents of ‘Me, Myself & I’ rapper G-Eazy, Cara and G-Eazy go well together on the addictive record. While the Canadian singer’s parts remain unchanged, G-Eazy gives a great verse to the record. Alessia Cara, while pop, has definitely been embraced by the hip-hop community so we are excited to see more of her rapper collaborations in the future.
