After Soundcloud’s algorithm selected relatively unknown rapper Rory Fresco’s track ‘Low Key’ to be played after Kanye West’s track ‘Real Friends’, Fresco’s stream count on the track went from 5,000 to 150,000 in less than a day’s time. From then on, the calls started coming in and the emerging MC was starting to get the attention he had long desired.
And after the release of his mixtape Mad World, Fresco has revisited his viral track, this time with a new version assisted by Bay Area rapper, G-Eazy. Fresco won’t need the help of Kanye for this one, as Rory Fresco and G-Eazy make for a great team on the single.

Earlier this week, the lovely and talented Alessia Cara teased a remix to her second single ‘Wild Things’, from her debut album Know-It-All. Recruiting the talents of ‘Me, Myself & I’ rapper G-Eazy, Cara and G-Eazy go well together on the addictive record. While the Canadian singer’s parts remain unchanged, G-Eazy gives a great verse to the record. Alessia Cara, while pop, has definitely been embraced by the hip-hop community so we are excited to see more of her rapper collaborations in the future.
Former 2AM Club founder, Marc E. Bassy, is currently in pursuit of his new solo career and he has been hitting the ground running. Introducing himself to fans on G-Eazy’s recent “When It’s Dark Out Tour”, Bassy and the ‘Me Myself & I’ rapper have teamed up again, this time for Bassy’s new record ‘You And Me’. You can preview the single now, and purchase it everywhere this Friday, May 6th.
Rappers G-Eazy and Logic both killed it with their huge headlining tours to kick off 2016. G-Eazy’s “When It’s Dark Out Tour” was his biggest one yet, where the Bay Area rapper moved up from theaters to sold-out arena. Logic’s “The Incredible World Tour” was huge in its own right too, and he brought Dizzy Wright and DJ Rhetoric along for the ride.
Now the two have teamed up for “The Endless Summer Tour”, and they are bringing YG & Yo Gotti with them this summer. The tour will kick off June 28th in Dallas, TX and will hit stops in Phoenix, California, St. Louis, Nashville and many more, until the tour concludes July 26th in Brooklyn. Kicking off the second leg of his hit tour on March 29th in Bloomington, IL, G-Eazy will make stops in Milwaukee, Madison, Vancouver, Tucson, and many more markets that he missed the first time around, until the North American tour concludes April 20th in West Palm Beach, FL.
