The most exciting duo in R&B today, THEY. have shared their brand new track, ‘What You Want’. And whether they first caught your attention before their big supporting tour with Bryson Tiller, or you have yet to give their music a chance, their new self-produced record is certainly one that you won’t want to sleep on.
They have been an overnight success ever since their debut EP Nu Religion, and things recently got even more exciting for the two, as they were recently added to Jeremih and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Summer’s Over Tour (dates below).
Childish Gambino’s third studio album, …Awaken, My Love!, is just around the corner, currently scheduled for a December 2nd release. And while fans have been patiently waiting, wondering what Donald Glover’s next LP would sound like, fans now have a first taste as Gambino debuted the album’s lead single ‘Me And Your Momma’ moments ago on Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe.
And if the awesome new track sounds familiar, you may have heard it before. Not only did Glover perform the record for thousands of fans at his PHAROS concerts in Joshua Tree, CA, but he also previewed the track for fans during his Bonnaroo performance in 2015. If this track is any indication of what the rest of the album will sound like, don’t be surprised if …Awaken, My Love! ends up being Gambino’s best and most critically acclaimed album to date.
It’s amazing how fast the internet can catch on to things. Just minutes after Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) broke his blackout on social media to share the announcement and album artwork for his forthcoming LP, “…Awaken, My Love!”, Twitter quickly noticed that the cover was in front of us all along.
In a recent episode from Glover critically acclaimed FX series “Atlanta”, the artwork for Childish Gambino’s upcoming album is displayed in the background, propped up in a bookshelf. While only time will tell, it will be interesting to find out if there are any more Childish Gambino easter eggs hidden in Glover’s hit show, which was already renewed for a second season.
Earlier this week reliable rumors began to circulate, as to the release of Childish Gambino’s third studio album. With since deleted listings for the LP appearing on various Amazon sites, and an advertisement for the album appearing at various FYE stores throughout the country, it looked like Donald Glover was nearing the release of his first new project since STN MTN / Kauai.
Those rumors have now been confirmed, as the Atlanta creator has shared the album artwork for his previously rumored LP, titled …Awaken, My Love! While it is still yet to be confirmed whether or not the album is releasing on December 2nd, we couldn’t be any more excited. Fans have been patiently awaiting an official release, ever since Gambino previewed new music at his PHAROS concerts in Joshua Tree, CA earlier this year.
In the wake of Donald Trump’s upset victory over Hillary Clinton, which has left many distraught, Killer Mike and El-P’s rap group, Run The Jewels, have shared their previously unreleased track ‘2100’ with fans moments ago. In a message to fans, Run The Jewels wrote:
“For our friends. for our family. for everyone who is hurting or scared right now. here is a song we wrote months ago. we werent planning on releasing it yet but… well it feels right, now. its about fear and its about love and its about wanting more for all of us. its called 2100. we hope it finds you well.
love,
jaime and mike”

From his EP, There’s Alot Going On, Vic Mensa brought his chilling performance of ’16 Shots’ to a national audience on Jimmy Kimmel Live. One of our favorite performances from Lollapalooza’s 25th Anniversary this past summer, Mensa was joined on stage by actors dressed in police riot gear, while rapping about policy brutality and the fatal police shooting of Chicago’s Laquan McDonald.
Making the memorable performance even bigger, Mensa was also joined by Blink 182’s legendary drummer, Travis Barker, to back up the performance. Then, a couple minutes into the record, Mensa abruptly stopped the music to talk to the people and call out the police in Chicago while also calling out Donald Trump, saying that if Trump wins the election, “racism wins”.
While fans still await an announcement from Donald Glover himself, it appears that Childish Gambino’s next album (his first new project since STN MTN / Kauai) is less than a month away. Reportedly titled Awaken, My Love, the rapper’s third studio LP is expected for a December 2nd release, according to a number of sources.
Fans first noticed the news of the forthcoming album, when a fan’s local FYE store advertised the upcoming release. Also, websites like Amazon Canada and Amazon UK both began advertising the release, listing which have now both been taken down.
We don’t want to bet on anything before Glover directly announces the album, but since fans are still awaiting an official release since Donald previewed new material at his PHAROS concerts in Joshua Tree, CA, a new LP would certainly make sense.
Moments ago, Country superstar Keith Urban stepped off stage after delivering a memorable performance for his biggest Milwaukee fans at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, on one of the many stops on his headlining ripCORD World Tour. Joined by newcomer Maren Morris and excited Cubs fan/Atlantic Nashville recording artist Brett Eldredge, the ripCORD ripped through the Bradley Center, delivering a number of great performances.
And to say Urban came with great company would be a massive understatement. Kicking off the night was the Country Music Award‘s freshly crowned “New Artist of the Year”, Maren Morris. Perhaps the most exciting breakout star in Country music today, Morris’ major label debut, Hero, debuted number one on the Billboard Country charts earlier this year, something especially rare for a rookie. Performing a number of records from her critically acclaimed LP, including ’80s Mercedes’ and ‘My Church’, Milwaukee couldn’t have experienced the Texas native’s rise at any better time, and she certainly picked up a number of new fans after her opening set. Don’t be surprised if the next time Morris returns to the Milwaukee, is on another big stage and as a headlining act.
Next up was perhaps the happiest County artist in the world, Chicago Cubs fan and Illinois native, Brett Eldredge. Eldredge celebrated the Cubs’ World Series victory earlier this week by catching the Series in person with his father and brother, and he continued his celebration earlier this morning, joining the Cubs for their victory parade in Chicago, just 90 miles south. But as the lights dimmed, and it was time for Eldredge to step on stage, it was all about the music.
Equally as exciting in Eldredge’s life right now is his brand new album, Glow. His third studio LP, and his first Christmas album, Eldredge stepped back from promoting his new track (still a tad premature for Christmas), and instead performed a number of his biggest records and fan favorites to date. From his opening performance of ‘Lose My Mind’ to the end of his set with his No. 1 single ‘Don’t Ya’, energy levels stayed through the roof at all times.
After a brief intermission, while crew prepared for Keith Urban’s headlining performance, it was time for the man of the night to greet the Milwaukee crowd. On his eleventh tour, supporting his tenth studio album, Ripcord, Urban opening his set with his 2016 LP’s opening record, ‘Gone Tomorrow (Here Today)’, and from that moment the crowd rocked with Urban and enjoyed their night while realizing just that. Even though the tour moves on to the next city tomorrow, Urban and his Wisconsin fans had the entire night to enjoy together.
Following with tracks like ‘Long Hot Summer’, ‘Break On Me’ and ‘Where the Blacktop Ends’, the New Zealand-born singer hopped between records from the new album and some of his biggest career hits. With various highlights throughout his set, including a few songs performed at a B-stage near the soundboard, Urban closed the main portion of his nearly 20-song setlist with performances of his Ripcord tracks ‘John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16’ and ‘Wasted Time’, before stepping off stage. That was not all for Milwaukee however, as Keith Urban returned for an encore performance, capping off his 2-hour headlining set with an acoustic performance of his 2006 track ‘Stupid Boy’, and then ending a memorable night with his Fuse single, ‘Raise Em Up’. We can’t guarantee that Eldredge’s Cubs will win another World Series in your lifetime, but you can definitely bet that Urban will likely return with another tour of great Country Music.

Last night Good Charlotte returned to Milwaukee, WI for another memorable performance at The Rave. Having previously played in practically every room of the multi-stage venue over the years, Good Charlotte reunited with their Wisconsin fans after their five-year-hiatus. Joined by The Story So Far, Big Jesus and Four Year Strong, all bands that the Maryland natives get their goals on touring with one day, Milwaukee was set for a hell of a night from the very beginning.
When it was time for Good Charlotte to hit the stage, the crowd instantly erupted for Joel & Benji Madden and company. Opening with some of their biggest hits, like ‘The Anthem’ and ‘Girls & Boys’, fans got to witness energetic performances of Good Charlotte’s discography of hits not only at the start but throughout the entire Milwaukee stop of the Youth Authority Tour. Fans were also treated to some great performances from Good Charlottes new album, the similarly titled LP, Youth Authority, which fans in attendance still sang along every word with.
From start to finish, with Big Jesus’ 20-minute set to Good Charlotte’s encore performances of their mega-hit ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous’, there was not a dull moment in the entire night.
Check out our photos below and make sure you get your tickets for one of the remaining dates of the Youth Authority Tour!
