The Weeknd
Who doesn’t love The Weeknd? Not only has he had one hell of a year, but his live performances are top notch. We caught his headlining sets at Coachella and Lollapalooza last year, and every time Abel delivered. He has a wide appeal, to rap/hip-hop, R&B and pop audiences, and he could certainly sell out the Marcus Amphitheatre. Despite some arguably sexiest lyrics, The Weeknd is a pretty safe choice that wouldn’t bring any controversy and he would definitely put on an epic performance for Milwaukee. While The Weeknd isn’t touring in the U.S. this year, he is performing at the Hangout Music Festival, so Summerfest is definitely a possibility.
