Greta Van Fleet made their Saturday Night Live debut this past weekend and rocked the stage at Studio 8H.
Performing ‘Black Smoke Rising’ and ‘You’re the One’ on the big stage, two tracks from their new debut album Anthem of the Peaceful Army, the Kiszka brothers and drummer Danny Wagner killed it. It’s no surprise that Greta Van Fleet is arguably the most exciting act in rock today.

If someone told you that Eminem and Chance The Rapper were teaming up on a project, you would be excited but surprised to hear that project was an episode of NBC‘s Saturday Night Live. Chance The Rapper will now serve as Chance The Comedian, as the Chicago rapper will be the guest host and Eminem will be the musical guest of the night.
Chance and Eminem will be featured on SNL’s November 18th episode. Larry David and Miley Cyrus will also serve as the guests on November 4th and Tiffany Haddish and Taylor Swift will be featured on the November 11th episode.

Earlier today we speculated that Kanye West may be performing his new track ‘Wolves‘ with Vic Mensa and Sia, for Saturday Night Live’s 40th Anniversary Special on NBC. As it turns out, we were right, as Chicago’s Vic Mensa and ‘Chandelier’ singer Sia joined Kanye for their first ever live performance of the song. For those who have not yet heard the amazing new collaboration from the Chicago legend and Chicago’s rising star, ‘Wolves’ is the first track off Kanye’s forthcoming LP and is produced by Cashmere Cat. Although Kanye seemed to have lost his voice before the performance (where he also performed ‘Jesus Walks’ and ‘Only One’), Ye still managed to deliver. Check out the performance below.
Matt Lauer and Kanye West haven’t had the best history, to say the least. Now it seems like things have escalated even further. What started with an appearanceby Kanye on the Today Show with Matt Lauer in 2010, led to a series of tweets by Kanye, voicing his frustration. “While I was trying to give the interview they started playing the ‘MTV’ under me with audio!” Kanye tweeted. “I don’t mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show … and that’s a very nice way for me to put it!” Ever since then, Kanye didn’t seem to forgive or forget, as he addressed his dislike of Lauer during one of his famous Yeezus Tourrants, just over a year ago.
[UPDATE #2: Turns out we were right! Check out the performance here!]
Is Kanye performing his new song ‘Wolves‘ with Vic Mensa tonight, for Saturday Night Live‘s 40th Anniversary special? It sure looks like it. A couple weeks ago it was revealed that Kanye was one of the performers for the upcoming special, which airs tonight on NBC (8PM/EST). And now more and more signs point to Kanye and Vic’s first performance of their Sia and Cashmere Cat produced collaboration.
