Chicago’s beachside music festival, React Present‘s “Mamby On The Beach”, is returning for another year of great music in the Windy City. Taking place this year on Saturday, June 24th and Sunday, June 25th, Mamby has just revealed its awesome 2017 lineup.

Headlining Mamby on the Beach in 2017, at Chicago’s Oakwood Beach, will be psychedelic rockers MGMT, Walk The Moon, Flying Lotus, Local Natives and Misterwives. Joining the festival’s headliners aside Lake Michigan will be artists like Raury, Marian Hill, Miike Snow, Saba, Phoebe Ryan, Sir The Baptist and Thundercat, just to name a few.

Last year was an amazing inaugural year for Chicago’s premiere beachside music festival, Mamby On The Beach. Like nothing else in the Windy City, Mamby On The Beach brought your favorite names in EDM to Chicago’s Oakwood Beach. This time around the festival is returning for its second year, on July 2nd and 3rd, leading into your 4th of July celebrations.

Chicago is like no other city when it comes to music festivals. Sure Indio, CA has Coachella, but the Windy City has so much more. For it’s big ticket festival, of course you have Lollapalooza, and indie lovers and hipsters have Pitchfork, and North Coast for the bassheads and Riot Fest for the rockers, but then you have especially unique festivals like Freaky Deaky (which takes place on Halloween) and Mamby on the Beach, which takes place on an effin beach! If a festival on the water sounds awesome, it’s because it is. And if you didn’t join us last summer for Mamby, you can pretend like you did and get ready for next year because the official after movie for Mamby on the Beach is out now!

Here is What Day 2 of Mamby On The Beach Was Like!

Tonight marked a successful end to Mamby on the Beach 2015, where fans of the Oakwood Beach festival saw performances from Passion Pit, Phantogram, Art Department, Claptone, Cut Copy, Holt, Cherub, Tanlines and more. Following Saturday’s sets from Empire of the Sun, James Murphy, My Gold Mask, Cashmere Cat, Zhu, George Fitzgerald, Felix Da Housecat, Robert Delong and more (check out our Day 1 photos here), it is hard to decide which day of the festival delivered more than the other! If you missed out this year, at least now you know not to make the same mistake in 2016.

Here is What Day 1 of Mamby On The Beach Was Like!

Today kicked off the first day of Mamby on the Beach 2015, where fans of the Oakwood Beach festival saw performances from Empire of the Sun, James Murphy, My Gold Mask, Cashmere Cat, Zhu, George Fitzgerald, Felix Da Housecat, Robert Delong and many more!

If you were there and didn’t wear yourself all out on the first day, or if you don’t mind getting to the party late, Mamby will be back tomorrow with sets from Passion Pit, Phantogram, Art Department, Claptone, Cut Copy, Holt, Cherub, Tanlines and more. Oh and there are after parties too!

Mamby on the Beach is just a couple weeks away, and like real estate, it’s all about location, location, location! Grant Park is cool and all but this year a Chicago music festival is inviting some big artists to the Windy City’s scenic Oakwood Beach on July 11th and 12th (get your tickets here). This year the 18-and-up festival will see performances from Empire of the Sun, Passion Pit, Zhu, Cashmere Cat, Phantogram, Cherub, Art Department and many more! And if for some reason you don’t enjoy a nice lakefront breeze, the party doesn’t stop when the festival gates close, as some of Chicago’s best venues will be hosting the official after parties all night long.
