Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) Wins Golden Globe for “Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy”

In a win that surprised many, including himself, the multi-talented Donald Glover (or Childish Gambino for his music fans) has just won a Golden Globe for his FX series “Atlanta”. Taking home the award for the “Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical”, Glover was noticeably surprised by the win, as he thanked the cast, crew, city of Atlanta, and of course the Migos.

“Atlanta” has been exceeding expectations in many ways, ever since its release. Although Glover is no stranger to critical acclaim in the television world, as he launched his writing career with Tina Fey’s hit comedy, “30 Rock”, this one must feel extra special as Donald is the creator, executive producer, starring actor and more. We are already excited for what Season 2 of “Atlanta” will have in store, but until then we will likely have a bunch of live Childish Gambino performances in the upcoming summer.
