Just a day removed from the release of their self-titled 5th studio album, Virginia-natives Parachute brought their headlining tour to the historic Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI to the delight of their Wisconsin fans.
Led by singer Will Anderson, the platinum selling band’s tour (dubbed “The Young Tour”) is named after their new album’s lead single, and rightfully kicked off the band’s set on Saturday evening. From start to finish the band opened and closed with cuts from the brand new LP, while still dedicating much of their setlist to the band’s first four albums. Tracks like ‘Lonely With Me’, ‘Can’t Help’ and ‘Jennie’ were just a few of many songs from Parachute’s past few records that made the cut for a setlist that was specially curated for the Milwaukee stop of the tour.
With a perfect mix of energetic tracks and slower jams, Will, Johnny and Kit partied with the Milwaukee crowd for about an hour and a half until their performance of ‘Had It All’, another single from the new album.

Pharrell’s inaugural Something In The Water Festival closed out in a big way with another day of great music at Virginia Beach’s beautiful oceanfront.
With performances from Chris Brown, Anderson .Paak, Pusha T, Jhene Aiko, Charlie Wilson and more, there was plenty to see for the last day of the epic festival. Fans already can’t wait for SITW to return for a second year in 2020, and hopefully without any rain.

Pharrell’s inaugural Something In The Water Festival had a rough day on Friday as the festival was forced to cancel its opening day before it even began as heavy rain, winds and lighting made for especially dangerous conditions. That all changed on Saturday as the sun came out and an amazing lineup of artists blessed the stage to put on a show that Virginia Beach would not soon forget.
With performances from Travis Scott, SZA, ASAP Ferg and a huge set from Pharrell with guest appearances by Jay Z, Diddy, Tyler The Creator, Usher, Missy Elliott and Snoop Dogg (to name a few), Something In The Water made up for Friday’s rain cancellation and then some!

The brothers are back and better than ever, so be ready when their comeback comes to a city near you, hopefully in the near future

Wednesday night marked Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt’s second visit to Milwaukee in the past year alone. And while fans happy to welcome the “Loyal To Me” singer back to The Back Room @ Colectivo, one of the city’s most intimate venues, if Nesbitt continues to see the success from her new sophomore album, The Sun Will Come Up, the Seasons Will Change, then she will certainly be stepping on much bigger stages for tours to come.
Nesbitt’s fan base has started to grow exponentially in the states since her single “Loyal To Me” hit Top 40 radio stations throughout the U.S. The multi-talented singer, writer and model has been performing for years, first getting her start on YouTube, but although she’s been grinding for quite some time, she stands as one of the most exciting emerging acts in pop today.
The night began with two supporting performances to get the mood going. Singer/songwriters SophieRose and Plested, who both have written song for other artists, were two great picks for the tour’s headliner who clearly prides herself on her writing. Rose performed songs like “Famous” and “Best Friend”, while Britain’s Plested performed some of his fan favorites like “Worthy of You”, “Ribcage”, and his original version of “Remind Me to Forget” (made famous by Kygo). In his new jacket that he bought down the road at Urban Outfitters, Plested even performed a bonus song with “Back Up Plan”, a track requested by a fan in the audience.

Last but not least, it was time for Nina Nesbitt to greet her Milwaukee fans. Opening with a shortened version of her new album’s single “Somebody Special”, Nesbitt kicked off what would definitely be a memorable performance. The singer then continued with her tracks “Sacred” and her emotional record, “The Moments I’m Missing”. The latter, which contains lyrics inspired by Nesbitt’s ex (or multiple if you will), Ed Sheeran, is evidence of how personal Nesbitt gets with her music. Although Nina Nesbitt has made a name for her self with the music alone, instead of who she dates several years ago, both Nesbitt and Sheeran (who penned his tracks Nina and Photograph after Nesbitt) give fans a window into their lives, heartbreak and all.
Throughout the night, no song was left behind as Nesbitt performed The Sun Will Come Up… in its entirely. From some of the album’s more fun and upbeat records like “Love Letter” to slower tracks like “Is It Really Me You’re Missing” (originally wrote for Rihanna), the set list focused on just one album but still had a diverse variety that any great concert should have.

Of the several highlights in the evening, two stand outs came near the end of the night as Nesbitt performed “The Best You Had”, a track which received a lot of attention when Taylor Swift included the song on her Favorite Songs playlist on Apple Music, a cover of The Weeknd’s “Often” and of course her grande finale with an entertaining performance of her album’s most popular single, “Loyal To Me”.
Whether its famous ex-boyfriends or her debut 2014 album Peroxide, Nesbitt draws from the past for her music but the only direction she’s moving is forward.

After kicking off the second leg of their headlining “Take Good Care Tour” at The Sylvee in Madison, New Orleans alt-rockers, The Revivalists, served up second helpings for their Wisconsin fans at Milwaukee’s historic Riverside Theater.
Just a day removed from the release of her highly anticipated sophomore album, Girl, country pop singer-songwriter Maren Morris kicked off her headlining Girl: The World Tour in Chicago at the city’s beautiful Riviera Theatre on Saturday night. Joined by country music’s Cassadee Pope, the all-girl tour also touched down one day after the celebrated International Women’s Day.
Moments ago, country music’s Maren Morris stepped off stage at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre after a memorable opening night performance for the “Rich” singer’s Girl: The World Tour. Performing cuts from her brand new sophomore LP, Girl, which released Friday via Columbia Nashville, as well as tracks from her debut album and her mega-successful Zedd-collab “The Middle”, Morris delivered a great set for the sold-out crowd.
With an opening performance from the punk-pop turned country, Cassadee Pope, fans were in for a treat from the moment the house lights turned off until Morris waved goodbye to her Windy City crowd. Chicago is already counting down the days until both singers return to the city for Chicago’s annual Country LakeShake Festival on Friday, June 21st.

In support of their new 2018 album, Attention Attention, Shinedown brought their 55-city headlining tour to Milwaukee’s brand new Fiserv Forum. With fiery production and Brent Smith’s unmatched energy, Shinedown and their Milwaukee fans tested the foundation at the new arena. Perhaps the best hard rock show that Milwaukee has seen all year, Shinedown delivered on Friday night.
