Summerfest got its fix of nostalgic rap and hip-hop as T.I. performed at the festival’s U.S. Cellular stage for a headlining performance. Perhaps the biggest draw of the night amongst the ground stage acts, fans came out in large numbers to see performances from some of their favorite Tip records like “Whatever You Like”, “Bring Em Out”, “Swagga Like Us” and many more.

Our pick for the night was the X Ambassador’s performance at the BMO Harris Pavilion stage. The Summerfest alum delivered a memorable and rocking performance that their Wisconsin fans will not soon forget.

Milwaukee was in for a treat last night, as The Lonely Island (Akiva Schaffer, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone) were joined by Bash Brother, Jose Canseco, and their “I’m On A Boat” collaborator, T-Pain for their Summerfest performance.
Currently on their first music tour, The Lonely Island’s live show is full of laughs and hits, and if you’re lucky, even a few special guests. Their act is definitely a must see for the summer.

While it wasn’t without controversy, after Lizzo tweeted about an incident between a member of her team and a security guard, Lizzo’s Summerfest performance in Milwaukee was one to remember. With well over 10,000 fans in attendance, outshining Willie Nelson’s headlining performance at the festival’s large amphitheater, Lizzo performed for one of the biggest crowds in her career.
Fans sang along from start to finish, and thankfully a powerful voice like Lizzo’s was able to be heard over the sea of screaming fans. It’s unfortunate that the night didn’t end in the best way, but Lizzo’s performance last night was beyond epic!
