‘Shooters’ rappers Migos (Offset, Quavo, Takeoff) were recently denied bond, as a result of their felony weapons charges. The trio is currently being held in Bulloch County Jail (Georgia) after their arrest outside a Georgia Southern University concert. Authorities searched Migos van upon their arrival, where officers found marijuana and multiple firearms. Migos were charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm in a school safety zone and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

We will keep you updated as we have more information.

Tech N9ne just dropped his new Eminem and Krizz Kaliko collaboration, titled ‘Speedom’. In addition to recruiting one of the greatest rappers of all time, by one of the biggest underground rappers of all time, the guitar lead on the track’s instrumental makes this record unique (to say the least). It isn’t our favorite song of the year, but definitely check it out for yourself.

Listen to the ‘Speedom’ featuring Eminem and Krizz Kaliko below.

Album Review: Barter 6 | Young Thug

Barter 6
BY DAN GARCIA

The similarities between rappers Young Thug and Lil Wayne are uncanny. Not only have I found myself asking “Wait, is this Weezy or Thugger?” during a song (see Travis Scott’s ‘Mamacita’), but the two both had their careers launched by their strong relationships with Cash Money Records and it’s co-founder Birdman. Also, both rappers are a little “odd” (for lack of better words), and while Lil Wayne cemented his legacy with Tha Carter albums, Birdman’s plan was for Young Thug to take the torch from Wayne (without Lil Wayne’s consent) and record the next series of Carter albums. Somewhere along the line though, perhaps because of the estranged (and currently litigated) relationship between Lil Wayne and Cash Money/Birdman, the plan changed and instead of releasing an official Carter album, Birdman’s new protégé has released the similarly titled Barter 6 project (which is actually a mixtape and not Young Thug’s debut LP).

It’s not technically new but it’s new to us, as a new unheard Rihanna and Chris Brown collaboration has surfaced online. The previously unreleased track from the former lovers is titled ‘Put It Up’, and you can stream it now. We aren’t quite sure when this track was recorded, especially since Breezy and Rihanna have had a long history, but either way the record is hot.

Listen to ‘Put It Up’ below.

Listen to Trinidad James’ New “Trips To Trinidad” EP

BY TER STAFF

‘All Gold Everything’ rapper Trinidad James had a rough breakup with Def Jam, but getting dropped from one of the biggest labels hasn’t stopped him. Earlier this year he dropped his very strong project, No One Is Safe, and now we have his new EP, titled Trips To Trinidad. Coming in at just four tracks (and with no features) this EP is definitely worth a listen.

Check out Trinidad’s new Trips To Trinidad EP here and stream ‘Trini Wolves’ below.
