Taylor Swift is set to kick off her highly anticipated tour, “The Eras Tour,” this Friday, March 17th at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for a highly anticipated 2-night sold-out residency at the Arizona Cardinal’s stadium which seats around 60,000 fans for concerts. Swifties from all over the country are flocking to the greater Phoenix area for the opening night of the tour. In celebration of Swift’s arrival, the city of Glendale has even temporarily changed its name to “Swift City” for the weekend.

The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will perform back-to-back shows in Glendale over the weekend and fans can expect an incredible show as Swift will deliver her chart-topping hits from various eras of her career, including her latest albums, “Midnights”, “folklore”, “evermore” and “Lover”, all which Swift has yet to tour.

The opening acts for the concert provide a couple huge reasons to get to the stadium early, as “abcdefu” singer Gayle and pop-punk legendarys Paramore are set to take stage. From one of the most exciting emerging acts in pop to a band that has cemented themselves in the hall of fame of their genre, the diverse list of openers for Friday night’s show is show stopping. The concert is set to begin at 6:30 pm, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to catch all the action.

Swift’s concerts are known for their impressive production value, stunning visuals, and dynamic performances. This tour promises to be no different, with Swift promising a unique and memorable experience for her fans. Selling out 2-3 nights at some of the largest stadiums throughout the entire country in an unprecedented fashion, and doing so in record time following an extended hiatus due to the pandemic, The Eras Tour will likely go down as one of the biggest (if not the biggest) tours of a generation.

As the first concert of “The Eras Tour,” Swift’s Glendale performance is sure to set the bar high for the rest of the tour, and for one night only fans going into Friday night’s performance have no idea what to expect, besides an unmatched and memorable night. Fans will be treated to an evening filled with unforgettable moments, chart-topping hits, and plenty of surprises.

If you were lucky enough to score tickets to opening weekend’s performance, be sure to check out the State Farm Stadium’s official website for more information.
