If you’re from the state of Wisconsin or a student from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, then as far as you’re concerned, Summerfest just topped all other music festivals when it comes to surprise guest appearances.

Joining the legendary hip-hop group, House of Pain, for their headlining set at the BMO Harris Pavilion was none other than Bucky The Badger. The UW mascot joined the Los Angeles natives on stage for their hit song, ‘Jump Around’, a track that has been embraced by the University of Wisconsin ever since the school’s memorable 31-24 victory over Drew Brees and the Purdue Boilermakers on October 10, 1998.

Ever since that day, ‘Jump Around’ was a staple for Badger football games and the campus as a whole. House of Pain has played an indirect role in a number of comeback Badger victories in the past two decades, so it was only right that Bucky join the group on stage to show them how Wisconsin likes to party.
