Last night Odd Future’s Earl Sweatshirt brought the “Not Redy 2 Leave” Tour to The Rave in Milwaukee, WI. Kicking things off for the Wisconsin crowd was the talented Queens native, rapper Remy Banks. Performing a number of songs from his growing collection of tracks, the highlight of Banks’ set came with the drop of his new Left Brain produced and ‘C.R.E.A.M.’ inspired single, ‘.rem’. Following Banks’ energetic performance was Vince Staples, easily one of the most talented young lyricists who made quite a buzz last year with his Hell Can Wait EP. And soon after the Long Beach rapper’s performance of his ‘Blue Suede’ track, Staples brought out the man of the night, OFWKTA’s Earl Sweatshirt.
Earl kicked things off by performing a few collaborations with Staples, and after Vince tagged in Earl for the Milwaukee crowd, Sweatshirt did not disappoint. The crowd was hyped, and at times you could not tell who was feeling the music and who was fighting. After a collection of songs from his early work, as well as tracks from his new album I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, Sweatshirt closed his set with a wild performance of his Tyler the Creator collaboration to Gucci Mane’s 2009 track ‘Lemonade’, similarly titled ‘Orange Juice’.
DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS TOUR. From top to bottom, the tour is easily one of the best shows you can catch this year thus far. If you’re in Chicago, you can catch them tonight at the Concord Music Hall, in attendance will be the winner of our first ever giveaway with React Presents. Check out our photos below as The Early Registration was there to catch the best moments of the night.
