Danny Brown did not take kindly to French Montana’s recent comments about lyrics rappers.
In a recent interview with Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez French Montana said “All lyrical rappers I know are broke” and “I just feel like you gotta make people enjoy the music.” While maybe French doesn’t know Talib Kweli, Common, and a huge plethora of very lyrically talents rappers, Danny Brown took offense to this. Brown quickly defended his own pocket and spoke to why he believes quality music should be preferred over what makes the most money.
