Common – House of Blues

“I went to Common at the House of Blues in Boston in December 2013. Estelle opened and it was bananas. Common did all the hits and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Even with the slow songs he got the crowd jumpin and moving. At one point in the show he just started breakdancing. Later in the show he did a dope ass 15 minute freestyle with “Nag Champa” playing in the background. With various songs he did a call and respond thing like he’d say: “We be that we be that” and the crowd would say “aphrodisiac disiac” or “as long as its funky” “all right, okay” “as long as its funky” “funky for you”. He performed for about 3 hours and it was hands down one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen (including Kanye!).” – Chris Montana
